Casting Crowns Stained Glass Masquerade Lyrics
    Is there anyone that fails
    Is there anyone that falls
Am I the only one in church today feelin' so small

Cause when I take a look around
    Everybody seems so strong
    I know they'll soon discover
    That I don't belong

So I tuck it all away, like everything's okay
If I make them all believe it, maybe I'll believe it too
So with a painted grin, I play the part again
So everyone will see me the way that I see them

    Are we happy plastic people
    Under shiny plastic steeples
    With walls around our weakness
And smiles to hide our pain
    But if the invitation's open
To every heart that has been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
    On our stained glass masquerade

Is there anyone who's been there
Are there any hands to raise
Am I the only one who's traded
In the altar for a stage

    The performance is convincing
And we know every line by heart
Only when no one is watching
    Can we really fall apart

But would it set me free
If I dared to let you see
    The truth behind the person
That you imagine me to be

    Would your arms be open
    Or would you walk away
    Would the love of Jesus
Be enough to make you stay

That better not be "Christian rock" lyrics.

Forgive me Sister Maria. They are Christian Rock lyrics. As I said, this heathen is finished.

Sounds like you're the one who discovered you don't belong, since you prefer Pastor Feelgood's words to those of God.

"Christian rock" is an oxymoron. All rock music is of the devil. If you don't repent and accept the REAL Jesus into your heart, then you are indeed finished. It's a shame that you'd rather live a life of sin than accept our pastors' help towards an eternity of reward.

Friend, as far as I can see, you appear to have just posted a song by some third-rate David Bowie wannabes about being a female impersonator, an abominable act which is specifically prohibited by God (Deuteronomy 22:5.) What made you decide to share this with our Christian Community? Have you been reading too many of Twink's posts?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Actually, this Christian band has many great worship songs. My favorite has to be "Praise You In This Storm." Heres the chorus:

                Chorus:
I'll Praise you in this storm,
and I will lift my hand
For you are who you are
                No matter where I am
                And every tear I cry
                You hold in your hand
                You never left my side,
and though my heart is torn
I will praise you in this storm.

I lift my eyes unto the hills
Where does my help come from?
My help comes form the Lord
The maker of heaven and earth

They also have many, many songs that are pure worship.
Actually EVERY single one of their songs comes from a Bible verse. Thats right. Sometimes when I'm doing my Bible reading, I come accross some of the lyrics to their songs right there in the Bible. It's actually kind of cool.

So taking GOD's word, mixing it with secularist filth, and setting it to old Black Sabbath riffs is "cool" now, is it? Pearls and swine, my friend, pearls and swine.

It's an Abomination to Bastardise the words written in The Bible(KJV1611).
It should be read as it was written by God.......

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim,
Whose glorious beauty is a fading flower,
which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one,
which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm,
as a flood of mighty waters overflowing,
shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim,
                    shall be trodden under feet:
                    And the glorious beauty,
which is on the head of the fat valley,
                    shall be a fading flower,
                    and as the hasty fruit before the summer;
which when he that looketh upon it seeth,
while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

                    Isaiah 28

HE took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha Cumi; which is,
being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise!...Mark 5:41

They're a band that praises Jesus......It is hard to name any band more devoted to God than Casting Crowns. I know you guys mean well, but Casting Crowns is not secular filth and it has nothing to do with Black sabath...

Their song "Your love is extravagant" is probably one of the greatest worship songs I know. I find myself raising my hands in praise whenever I hear this song. It is so simple, yet so amazing.

Please don't judge a book by it's cover.
