Re: Introduction thing.
Hello Rozen. I too am new to the fold. I'd like to assure one and all I am a caucasian male of good protestant background and have never met, much less spoken with any unsaved trash such as nigras, homers or cathylicks. Except my sister in law - shes an ex cathlick wiccan type who i suspect sups from the furry cup while my brother is at work. But thats not my fault, and may god send her to the fiery depths of hell - and my brother too, for bringing such filth into the family. perhaps one may have some advice for those of us whose siblings have betrayed their family, their faith and themselves by marrying strange ex-catholic/wiccan/lesbians. Does God even recognise this unholy union?. Would Baptism straighten her out? Can my Brother be forgiven? What about my parents for giving their union their blessing? Am I the only one that sees the evil under our own roof? Help! Advice is needed...The devil, whose business is to pervert the truth, mimics the exact circumstance of the Divine Sacraments. He baptises his believers and promises forgiveness of sins...he celebrates the oblation of bread, and brings in the symbol of the resurrection. Let us therefore acknowledge the craftiness of the devil, who copied certain things of those that be divine."Tertullian (155-222 AD) from The Prescription Against Heretics' Ch XL

Re: Introduction thing.
Guy, why don't you quit being a lazy thread-moocher and start your own intro thread rather than derailing everyone else's?

Don't let Zeke see you say that, or he'll start to think he's had a 'True christian influence' on me.Originally posted by Joo View PostMy Rachael, that was almost a Zeke worthy statement.

I don't mean to be a meanie-pants, however I'm under an inordinate amount of stress and the little things are getting to me.

Anyways as far as stress goes I always say it's better to just remember that you're problems are nothing but air. I'm sure you've got access to food and water, so you're survival is not in imminent danger. Everything past that is just superficial human concerns.

I appreciate you're trying to help, dude, but until you leave school and experience the real world, you aren't really qualified to talk about stress. But, thanks for caring.

Re: Introduction thing.
Oh dear! No need to apologize to Rachel! She's been around the block, sure, but she's still only a witch. If not for lieberal secular law, she would have gone up in flame ages ago! The proper way to respond when she starts getting uppity is with a good, firm rebuke.Originally posted by Guy View PostGood point. My excuse is I am really new at this forum thing . Now I have a question about your name and its pronunciation. Is it "g-eye" as in "a man", or is it "g-ee", as in a snotty frog from Europe or Canuckistan?Posted via Prayer

Re: Introduction thing.
Please! Poor Rachael has been impregnated by five different Japs over the last week, she's due to appear in court over the mysterious disappearence of numerous babies in her area, and her husband spends most of his time fornicating with strange men in the toilets of the nearest Unitarian "Church". Oh, and, like you, she's going to Hell. I'd say she can be forgiven for feeling a bit under the weather.Originally posted by Joo View PostHa ha, true true.

Everything past that is just superficial human concerns.O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.
