I saw this wonderful idea recently and I think I am going to go into production with it. In the UK during the 1930's and 1940's some clever chap came up with the idea of a baby cage that attaches to your window. The cages were given out by Infant Welfare Centres.
You have the advantage of not having a child crawling around (space is at a premium, especially if you live in a high rise building) and if it starts to scream you can just shut the window. Also in the summer the baby can spend all day in the healthy sunshine. For some reason the idea fell out of fashion around the time of the blitz.
Some people may see a potential problem with the design but don't worry, as the article says the cage 'is guarded on the apartment side by a cloth net which prevents children from crawling back into the room'.
I'm going into production with these. On a small scale at first.
I will be producing two model. A basic model, I'm thinking around $100.
A deluxe model with stronger more adequate straps and a 'rain proof' cover, (I will also make sure all splinters are removed on this model). This will probably be around $150. Post and packaging will have to be arranged on an individual basis.
Acts 20:9
And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep:
First come first served!
Jack
