Oh dear. I would gladly volunteer to help with any admin - but I don't know if my status as not being a True Christian (tm) might pose a problem.

How will I know when I'm accepted? Will there be some sort of blinding light or is it something to do with tithes?

Well everything has to do with Tithing, of course. Jet fuel and Bibles don't grow on trees you know. It costs good money to spread the Good News about Jesus all over this globe. That's what the "Donate" button is for, pal.

As for your becoming a True Christian(tm), well, you've got a ways to go, son. We haven't seen any sign yet that you are anything other than a God-mocking atheist. You ask a lot of funny questions, and you don't sound very knowledgeable about God's Plan for Salvation(r).

I'd say the first step for you would be to follow my earlier advice and change that Darwinista sounding name of yours. Use the Free Will that God gave you and decide what's best.

You know, Pastor, I never much liked the name "Yttrium" in the first place.

        I like "Abednego", though.

          You mean the Babylonian "God?"

You're going from bad to worse, son. Why not a good Christian name like "Ralph?"

There is some doubt to that story...

It has been pointed out that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego's names all pertained to pagan Babylonian gods, and therefore the question has been posed why the Bible seldom uses their original Hebrew names. It is speculated that they are identified mostly by their Babylonian names to maintain the accuracy of the dialogue given in the text. Since it would have been confusing to have the writer call them one thing and the king call them another, the story uses their new names instead.
Or are you actually a joo...

Re: Have we lost what was once common knowledge?

Dammit kid, when are you going to learn that no matter what the pastor says or does, he's always right? That's why he's a pastor! You shouldn't even have to ask that stupid question because we both already know the answer. Of course he isn't. Why? Because he's a pastor. The reason Jesus made him a pastor is because Jesus knew he could trust him. A pastor disobeying God is like a fish trying to walk on dry land. It just don't happen. You're just trying to make him look bad and frankly its pissing me off. If you keep asking stupid questions, it won't end well for you boy.(Sorry for the foul language pastor, but this skater punk kid is making me mad)

Pastor, I like your suggestion of "Ralph" - please would you make the necessary arrangements to change my name?

I'm not sure about common knowledge as history has continually shown the things we have taken for granted to be wrong. The things we take for granted today will probably be thought of as silly in 200 years.

But I do believe we have lost a lot of common sense. What is it they say about common sense?

The problem with common sense is it's not all that common.
