In the late 1800s a man named Kraft Ebing was the leading theorist on sexual deviancy .He points to same sex schooling as one of the ways to "create" a homosexual for the reason that Humans have a basic need for sexuality, if a young heterosexual boy is placed in a place where there are no women around to release his need for a sexual relationship than he will turn to those who are around him, other boys in the same predicament.

Sometimes being naked with other men, admiring their taught, firm abs and pecs and lats and buttocks, is a perfectly innocent expression of manly admiration that has nothing to do with homerism. Even Jesus traveled in the company of scantily clad youths:

I have to put an asterisk after this statement. First of all, we will assume that the same sex school is NOT Catholic. Also, the importance of stern corporal punishment and a definite seniority based system of initiating pledges, etc... is necessary to maintain a heterosexual atmosphere. That's why schools have teachers and coaches, to watch the children shower and to make sure there's no funny business. A wet towel snapped at any child deemed to be up to funny business will stop it pronto.
