I at no point said 9 year olds having sex was any where near a good idea. I remember when i was a kid girls used to come up to me "would you go out with my friend" you'd spend a week holding hands and after the weekend you'd forget about it... Or you'd be too busy playing Tag or "It" to care.

I Think its sweet that their school sweethearts... aslong as they do good by their beliefs and parents and dont do anything crazy there is no problem.

I have nothing against you. I have serious issues with your propaganda.

Females must be supervised. They have limited mental capacity and let their hormones get the best of them. Their drive to have babies is nearly insurmountable. Because of this, any time a female is with a male, a chaperon must be present to prevent the female from seducing the male. This is not 'innocent fun' unless you consider having illegitimate babies funny. You like the idea that your daughter will be a spoiled harlot if she is able to find a man who is willing to accept damaged goods?
This particular case, is not a situation of two kids doing 'make believe' for a week. They have been together doing who knows what unsupervised for SEVEN years!!!!! I cannot believe you think this is OK! Where do you live, Britain?

I am just throwing this out there. Would it not be better for the girl of just 16 to be at home learning woman's work, cooking, ya know like how to bake a pie. Perhaps learning how to properly clean a mans home. She should spend all of her free time reading the KJV1611.

The young man at 16 should be learning a trade, chopping wood, how to build and maintain a home and provide for a family. He needs to spend all of his free time reading the KJV1611 as well.

At the age of 18 and having saved money to pay for the girl they then can be married. And go about the work of making soldiers for Jesus. And not until that time should they even think of sex!

Dude you and ur gf are both 16, you are both in love. If you want to have sex then have sex if you both feel you are ready. If not then wait. But it really really really is UP TO YOU to decide do not let any one make you feel bad or make you think it is wrong. It really isnt it is just you and your gf showing each other how very much your are in love it is a comitment of your deepest feelings to want to be intimate with each other.

No I am not a full believer but I do believe there is a higher presence and I dont think that he spends all his power and time watching young couples in love be intimate.

Ok seriously Im really starting to not get this, because the more i read from this sight the more it makes me not want to be part of god. It seems everything a person can possibly do is bad im starting to wonder if there is a verse in the bible that makes it a sin to breath. I do understand these are your beliefs but wow, just wow. Just because a man an a woman have sex doesnt mean she is going to have him done for rape. Yes there are women out there that have tried it but we are not all harlots or what ever the hell it is. I am already going to burn in hell no matter what I do no matter how hard I follow gods rules because I am left handed and as far as i can gather that is a automatic pass into hell. Amen Pastor! The boy needs to start worrying about expenses and to get a job. Not only are women expensive, but the little Soldiers of Christ cost a pretty penny to bring up properly.

There are many conflicting answers to just what a Biblical shekel is worth today. A trusted source in these matters would certainly be the joos. By my calculations the boy is going to have to come up with around $500 to get the girl from the father.

But can he meet the dowry by paying 500 MODERN shekels for the girl? (4 shekels = 1 US dollar). This would be a good bargain since the price of a 'health club' girl in Jerusalem these days runs 250 shekels per half hour.

Sex for non-procreational purposes is sinful. This is not just the view of True Christians or the Bible. Even islam shares this view.

That's not necessary: statutory rape means she wasn't old enough to give consent, so the guy is a rapist by definition. Here are more details:
