      Some important history lessons:

      The French surrender at the drop of a beret and break out their best wine.

      The Poles idea of national defense is a set of speed bumps at their borders.

      The Italians, who once ruled the known world as the Romans, have since used up all their military mien. Their prefered method of winning a war these days is to fight for one side until it is clearly on the losing slope, then switch sides in time for the victory parade.

        p.s. -- No kidding, at 12, I was completely unprepared to deal with the attention that my burgeoning bosom inspired. It was very creepy to see grown men--who were supposed to be escorting some other kids-- eyeing me in my halloween princess costume. That was the year I gave up Trick or Treat; and not because I had became too grown up for it in my little girl heart.

          One never becomes too old to put on a princess costume for Halloween. Girls I know who are much older than 12, look very nice in their princess costumes. Some of them even dress up as police women, to show the the respect they have for authority.

          Another really good idea for a Halloween costume is to be dressed up as an angel of God. Its pure and holy.

                        Hey! I am not 350 pounds of pasta! The Flying Spaghetti Monster would be 350 pounds of pasta if it were real-- which it is not.

                        Just because I am a little rounded and unworthy of Brother Dewitt does not mean that I am shaped like a giant beach ball. All the curves are there, they're just -- expanded. And I'm in my 50's now, at 30 I was still a size six, (in some places.)

                          I think anything between a size 6 and a size 10 is perfectly normal. The girls over here are slightly obese, probably 12 or something.

I was merely pointing out that handmaiden may not be as rounded as she thinks, so that her self esteem does not hit rock bottom!
