HOW WILL WE RECOGNISE JESUS WHEN HE RETURNS ???

Friends,

As Rapture is almost apon us, and the end times are drawing ever nearer, I thought I'd begin this thread - so that our less Bible-literate members could recognise Jesus upon his return. Glory!

Now, many liberal namby-pamby touchy-feely false Christians would have YOU believe that when Christ returns he'll be some sort of hippy! That he'll be running around petting puppies, kissing babies, and spreading sweet sweet love all around. Well, those fag-loving fake Christians are in for a wake-up-call... because that's not what the Bible says at all!

These false Christians spread lies to people like "What if Jesus is already here?", "What if he walked past you in the street, and you never recognised him?" Friends, if Christ WAS back already, I'm sure God's Favourite Church would know about it ... and it won't really be THAT hard to miss him!

The Bible teaches us that Jesus will return to lead the believers (ie. US True Christians) in the final battle against everyone else. That those who obey Jesus until the end (Us again!) will rule everyone else with an iron rod. We'll even get to smash the others into smithereens! Hallelujah! (Revelation 2.26) There will be trial and tribulation, the earth will burn, the rivers will run red with blood, the horsemen of the Apocalypse will run rampant! Praise!

The Bible even has a description of our glorious Lord during the End Times -

As all True Christians already know, when Jesus returns to Earth he will have white hair, eyes of fire, feet of brass, be clothed in red, and have a huge sword sticking out of his mouth. All those who do not repent will be fought and slaughtered by Jesus (with the sword sticking out his mouth). Praise! (Revelation 1.13, 2.16, 19:13)

I HAD planned on tackling a Bible scene where Jesus was burning homers and Joos with fire-bolts from his eyes, and hacking towelheads, japs, chinks, midgets, dykes, goths and retards apart with the sword sticking out his mouth... but sadly my skills as an artist just don't quite stretch that far.

Yes, they don't exactly bend in that direction. Maybe you should concentrate on something else. Your heart is in the right place though and that's what's important. Keep trying and don't give up. Get the fire in the eyes, on not on top the head. Try to make it not look like Jesus is a candle that's melting either.
Perhaps that sword tongue needs some thinking too. I just perused that part of the Bible and the word sword isn't in it!

I was trying to go for his burning firey eyes with smoke coming out of them. I don't think it went quite the way I intended.

I'm sure there would be a lot of smoke coming from his head, as he scorches vile sinners, perverts and sick reprobates to death! Praise!

That's what I get for skimming and not pondering! But are you sure it's a literal sword and maybe not a figurative one? He also says about the eyes, "his eyes like unto a flame of fire" Which I imagine is quite probably true.

But I doubt his tongue is a sword, because it would make talking pretty difficult. Although, Jesus is Jesus and can do anything! I will not doubt the good book, no sir! But maybe it is more like switch blade?

Um, but wouldn't the sword be clenched between His SUPERNATURAL teeth sideways?

That way He would be able to swipe the sinners upside the head more easily, as He tosses His head while passing through the multitudes!

I doubt Jesus will be doing much talking when he returns, Brother.

With so many non-believers, non-Christians and doubters to slaughter, I'd imagine that sword's gonna look pretty impressive. Enough to take out at least 100 non-Christians with a swift turn of his head, i'd venture to bet!

Tho, no doubt he'll be able to retract his mouth-sword whenever a True Christian™ approaches, in case he needs to give us orders as to who he wants us to smash into smithereens next?! The Lord can do anything! Praise!

In those pictures, the sword is almost transparent. Now, it's in the Bible, so it's true. No doubt about that. But maybe it's sword we can't really understand? Some kind of Jesus weapon beyond our comprehension. Do you really think he's going to go around whacking sinners a couple of hundred at a time with a sword tongue? No way! It must be much more than that!

Ahhh... I see what you're saying, Brother M. No doubt about it, this will be no ordinary mouth-sword. I feel slightly embarassed now that I painted Christ's mouth-sword so small. To kill the sheer volumes of non-believers that the Bible tells us Jesus will slaughter with his mouth-sword, this sword must be SOME weapon.

Maybe this sword that can materialize out of his mouth when he wills it? Or maybe it shoots out like some sort of giant switch-blade? Maybe this sword can grow to the length of an entire city block? Hacking down people by the 1000's. One things for sure, it will be a pretty effective weapon. Tho I'd imagine he uses his sword more for anyone who comes up against him. Smiting with fire should be his main choice of weapon for slaughtering the Unsaved masses (2 Thessalonians 1.7). Remember Jesus also has his flame-throwing eyes to fry anyone who won't accept him. So I guess he has all his bases covered.

Jesus has a LOT of people to kill! Praise!
