  • Beware the Snuggie

    Brothers and Sisters:

A new product is being marketed toward our precious children, advertised nationally to lure them into a state of helpless comfort.

    It is called "The Snuggie"

Essentially, it is a molestation device used to get children "into bed" wherever they may be (on the couch, in the car, at the football game, etc.) The casual observer cannot see what is going on beneath The Snuggie, or even if those who wear it (or are forced to wear it) are clothed.

I urge you to avoid this horrific item like a Plague of Goths, and to rip The Snuggie off anyone you may spot wearing it, to expose the terrible secret lying beneath.

    Leviticus 26:27-29

    27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

        Re: Beware the Snuggie

I disapprove of that "free bonus book light" as well. It smacks of Socialism to me. After all, any decent Christian should know the Bible well enough to be able to read it in the dark, and why would you need to read any other book? If you were trying to read a non-Christian book in the dark, I suppose the sensible thing to do would be to burn it one page at a time, so each page would give you enough light to read the next. No fancy liberal elite democrat (LED) lights required, thank you very much.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Thank you for bringing this up, Brother! I too am fed up with these "free bonus booklets" being bandied about on commercials these days. Also "free faux pearl necklaces" and "two-for-one" offers. What has happened to this country when socialist giveaways are crammed down the throats of every American watching television?

"Hands Free", "Machine Washable", "Perfect for Outdoor Events".....can they spell out its intended use any MORE clearly, I wonder ? !

Incidentally, it's a well known fact the "booklight" is included to help the predator find escaping children in the dark, and/or to see under their disgusting Snuggie blankets once they've been trapped.

            I feel ill.

These "things" just cannot be suitable for a dedicated True Christian™.
Anyone who takes the Bible seriously should be reading in a cold damp room for hours at a time to remind them of the pain and suffering Jesus endured.

The only "luxury" I have when reading my Bible (KJV) is to wear my glasses.
I expect you have all seen the tinted one's with the Rose pattern and those nice Blinkers fitted at the sides?

My eyesight is actually 20/20 thanks to Jesus not blinding me, but again, wearing such things reminds me of Jesus' suffering.

As bad as The Snuggie is, it doesn't hold a candle to Tickle Me Elmo. That insidious toy has been around for years now, converting innocent children into Satanists. The proper name for it should be Molest Me Elmo.

While I respect your reasons against the snuggies, I like the idea. They cover the shapely human body which is disgusting in the eyes of God. Up until this was invented I had my wife wear a Grimace costume in public so that the wandering eyes of lustful men would not fall upon her.

Why don't you send us a picture of her wearing it? We already know what she looks like in person.

This is an inspiration! Bravo, Sister!

I'm going to speak to a Pastor about beginning an Eyeglasses Drive, in which we're all distributed very strong eyeglasses that have no relation to our prescription (if we are unlucky, or wicked, enough to be blighted with one).

Straining to read the Biblical text through this self-imposed barrier will remind us that we are NOT God's equal...that we must carefully pore over every single word to "make it out".

And the resulting headaches will indeed remind us of Jesus' suffering for hours, perhaps days, afterwards.

no, it is simply a loving mother reading a book to her daughter. it might even be a book about Noah's ark or another Bible story. nothing wrong there

Is there a reason you're digging up posts older than my youngest child?

                              Not wrong Brother Grogan.

That Zed bloke was only interested in posts about children.
