To be fair, at least he actually seems to have been reading it, rare for a papist. I think this is the first time he's cited the word of God in addition to the heretical writings of damned popes and saints.

Then men started sinning and even sinning against each other. That Noah was a victim of sodomy tells us we have always had to endure abuse. Unfortunately, it appears very likely that Noah was sodomized. We all know that his descendants tends to be rapists towards white, but i would never have guessed that the first black actually raped his own father.

Some would argue that it was just Caanan to be cursed, therefore, since the Caananite were exterminated when the Israelites took their land. However, our Church Fathers seems to disagree:

Did it not come first from Noah who, perceiving that his son Ham had foolishly derided the nakedness of his father, cursed him in these words, Cursed be Ham, a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren, and set his brethren as lords over him, seeing that they had wisely deemed their fathers old age worthy of honor?

Here, St. Ambrose is not referring to Caanan, but to his father Ham himself:

St. John Chrysostom confirms that Ham, not only clearly sodomized Noah, but even enjoyed it!

The Papacy did everything he could to abolish Slavery. Unfortunately, he was only able to abolish "Physichal slavery" not "Spiritual slavery". Therefore, the Hamites are always forced to be slaves, no matter what they do. However, they can still be saved if they work hard and follow Jesus. These mistakes do happen Sister Talitha. The post flood period must have been a very confusing time and with everyone wearing long tunics these mistakes happen. Though they are not excusable.
