Re: What the Bible says about the Universe (Copernicus lied)
Brother Jeb, what do you make of this verse? The four corners of the Earth is mentioned elsewhere in the Bible, such as in Isaiah 11:12.
Revelation 7:1
1And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

I'm assuming that you, like Landover, see the Bible (not the Apocrypha or dogma) as God's Instruction Manual for Life Eternal.
That being the case, everything necessary is in The Bible. If you have a problem with science, that's your problem - there's enough science for everyone within the pages of KJV.
I can prove that the earth is shaped like an aspherical lens. I've seen the earth from space and it looks just like that when you are looking at it. Well, I only see the round part. I haven't actually seen the flat part, yet.

The most shocking thing is that the scientists KNOW the truth - but the only time they'll admit it is by accident. Here's an image from the ultra-liberal DailyKos:
