Re: Does God Love Everybody?
We here at Landover Baptist Church follow the Holy Bible to the letter. All the parts, not just the feel-good parts. If you can show evidence of a True Christian™ misquoting any portion of the Holy Word of God, please bring this to the attention of a Pastor. This is a very serious charge. If, however, you fail to find such a comment, an apology to Pastor Peters is in order, as it is quite a serious thing to accuse him of doing.

Re: Does God Love Everybody?
Well, I just told you part of what Christianity means to me as an individual. How do anyone know the path they follow is right? We can all only hope to get to the other side in one piece. For all we know, being Muslim could be the right way...or being and Atheist. We can only try to be the best we can be, and hope it is enough.Originally posted by Oliver Brendan Hayve View PostYou've made various assertions (unsupported, I might add) about what Christianity isn't. Re: Does God Love Everybody?
Since you persist in completely ignoring Jesus and the Holy Bible, the only one who can really answer that question is yourself. But I suspect your cognitive dissonance is too strong, disallowing introspection and other viewpoints than the one you already have.Originally posted by SouthernAngel View PostWow, so ignorance is really bliss then?

You see, I never said I was... I am just interpreting the Bible the same as you. You also only use the parts that suit you, so I can do the same...Or are only you allowed to use the Bible for your own means to justify your actions?Originally posted by Pastor Isaac Peters View PostNo, since you obviously are. You even know which parts of the Bible God wants us to follow and which parts He just intended as filler.

From where I'm sitting, it looks as though they're just doing what their big book of fairy tales tells them to do, while you're using God's name to justify whatever you want to believe.
Then explain your belief system, and justify it through logic.
And that's different from Christianity in general exactly how?

Your lack of intelligence makes me weep. Rather think before you post something. Maybe the perfect place for you is in fact, the kitchen.Originally posted by Mary Etheldreda View PostOh Brother Smyth, isn't it just aweful? Funny how lack of education and religious fanaticism usually go hand in hand.

Because you are God's confidant? Hell sister, you are in a privileged position. BTW, your infringement message is very offensive. Never thought God fearing Theology students would be that rude. Do unto others and so on....Originally posted by Mary Etheldreda View PostThat's silly! The LORD would no sooner give Cranky Old Man cancer than He would give Jesus cancer.

And no visiting one of us evil oncologists and dosing on morphine, you hear? Cause you will go to hell then.
