At the risk of appearing a feminazi, I just want to point out that a lot of those passages do actually condemn homosexual urges - or at least half of them...

I'm quite willing to admit that I've made a mistake or misunderstood (especially when it comes to the Bible, as the Bible itself says that I, an a non-believer, cannot hope to understand it at all), but I would really appreciate it if you could point out where my mistake is (as none of the Pastors here have done so when I raised this point in other threads).

If you want to claim that Matthew 5:28 also applies to women (that they also should not look upon other women with lust in their hearts), I will counter with the fact that the Bible was written to men only, and that women were to listen to their husbands for instruction in all silence and subjection.

Let us not forget that women are just as capable of being hated by God for being homosexual as men and, as those passages make clear, its actually easier for them (as women are more inherantly sinful)

One of the most curious things I discovered when I read the Bible, is that in that Book, heterosexual urges are condemned:

Proverbs 6:25 "Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.

Matthew 5:28 "But I say to you, That whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."

yet there are no equivalent passages for homosexual tendencies. Instead, the ACT of homosexual love is condemned (the verses in question need not be repeated for the umpteenth time in this thread).

So go ahead and feel that drive. But beware, if you act on it, God will not approve (no matter what some so-called "Christians" may tell you), and orders your painful gruesome death at the hands of those who believe in His Word.

Now, if you feel the need to claim that the urges are irresistible, that you can't help acting on those impulses, please do me and everyone here the favour of explaining how you are not an apologist for NAMBLA and the Catholic Church.

I don't see what is wrong with homosexuality, god created man with their own wisdom, choice, and actions, when every fellow christian hates them. I believe god doesn't hate homosexuality, as he loved people having their own choice, and that he also encourages man to greet other man with a friendly and lovingly kiss.

Whichever "god" you seem to blindly believe in, it sure isn't the one described in the Bible.

Scripture already has an answer to your question:

Romans 1:18-21: For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

If you read through to the end of the chapture, you'll see that that's why God gives people up to faggotry and lezbertarianism.

If it's not natural, then why does it happen?

If you pondered seriously anything in the Bible beyond the handful of "feel good" verses you cling to, your whole world would fall apart.

Your hippy, all love/no sacrifices Jesus is a false idol. He is a god that you created in your own image. He just wants to love and get along with everybody. He certainly isn't going to return in righteous fury and smite those who flout Biblical directives. No, your Jesus is way too tolerant for that.

Seriously, why don't you just get a pair of scissors and cut out all the parts of God's Holy Word that offend your delicate sensibilities? Let us know how much is actually left when you are through. Probably not even enough to make a decent sized post.
