That's like if I said I love my house, so I must love the termites that live in it too. Stupid of course, I love my house so I would want to annihilate the termites before they destroy my house.

Same thing with God, God loves this flat expanse of rock and water, so He sent Jesus to get rid of the sinners, as is clearly explained in John 3:16-20.

Your personal interpretation is wrong, because you made up the bit where you think God also said He loves everything that lives on the world. He did not say that! God even warned you not to do that:

As a "christian" how can you say your gay. It is pretty much one or the other. Have you not read the Bible? Do you not understand how God feels about homosexuality? If we are contrary to the scripture, please point it out. I can pretty much assume that it would be you that are wrong since our pastors have spent numerous hours studying the Bible. I have not had a question yet that they were unable to answer.

As for someone choosing to be gay, well usually it's something deep seated in the psyche. A need to feel like an outcast, to perhaps hurt his parents the way that the homer felt hurt by them. Quite often it is as simple as an overbearing mother and a wall flower father. Anyway, there is a lot of studies that have been done. You can be cured, many on this board have been cured of their homosexuality. One thing I will warn you about is it seems that the ex-gay is hated even worse than the gay itself. You get attacked by conservatives who believe once gay always gay, and then you get attacked by the liebral left who tell you to give up your new ways and get back to the debauchery because you're screwing up their world view.
