That's as good an explanation as any I've heard. Catholicism is really just a gussied-up version of the oldest and most primitive of all the pagan cults - fertility goddess worship. Might as well replace all of their Mary idols with THIS pornographic antediluvian filth, there is no difference:

But I still want to hear one of those cretins explain their rejection of Christ.

The Roman cultists don't even follow their own corrupt version of the Bible. We True Christians™ know that the real (i.e., King James) Bible says,

1 Timothy 2:5-6 KJV 5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

The Catholic Douay-Rheims "Bible" gets it almost right, so the Mary-hailers can read it for themselves:

For there is one God, and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus: Who gave himself a redemption for all, a testimony in due times.

This is one of the many Bible teachings that Mystery Babylon "interprets" her way out of.

The Roman Catholics started the whole adoration of Mary because little Italian boys are mammoni.
Here is a passage from an article that clues in those outside the cult. As these paragraphs illustrate--the Mariolatry is even more anti-Biblical than it appears on the surface.

Let her think you’re Jesus … like, the Jesus.
“Italian mothers think their boys are God. It’s like they are the Prince. If you think about why: They grow up and they don’t leave home ‘til they’re 33, just like Jesus. They hang out with the same 12 guys, and their mother thinks they’re God. Look, I’m sure all people from all ethnicities think they treasure their sons. But Italian mothers — it’s something special.

“Growing up, my father would say, ‘I really don’t feel like eating fish today.’ She would say, ‘That’s what we have. You gotta eat it.’ I would say, ‘Ma, I don’t wanna eat fish.’ She would go, ‘What do you want, honey? I’ll make you something else.’ And she’s still like that. My mother’s 94 now, and she’s still like that.”

Verily, this is in the heart of this issue. The Italians are just Romans who discarded Latin (a good choice) but simply replaced it with the degenerate Vulgar Latin (a much much worse choice) and failed to realize that there was NO WAY it could lead to any civilized interlocution. In addition, the Romans during Biblical times tried to usurp God by exhibiting behaviors that were restricted to God our Lord and perhaps Jesus.

Take Pontius Pilate, for instance, an Italian man. It is the duty of God to ignore mundane happenstances and let nasty things happen to good people. He has His plans, tribulations build character and all this helps God differentiate between goats and sheep. Well, the Pilates guy tried to do the same thing: He ignored the Christ-killer Jews and simply allowed them to condemn Jesus. It was God's privilege to do that and remains so.

    Matthew 27:24
When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

We now know that the temporary torture and death of Christ was necessary but the Jews did not know, nor did the Pilates practitioner. That's why they're in Hell and that's why all followers of the Roman cult (Mary = Ishtar the harlot, Pope = Sol Invictus = Mithra) shall also eventually end up there. Somehow, somewhere, this also gave birth to the homosexual agenda that is now the principal hinder to Salvation®. Praise Jesus!

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer

Mary worship. Now, I already know what you're thinking: "We don't worship Mary, we venerate her." Well, I'm not here to argue semantics. This isn't a dictionary forum. I've heard all your half-baked reasons for praying to Mary. I'm not asking why you pray to Mary. My question is this: Why not Jesus? Why don't you pray to Jesus? Is the savior who died for your sins not good enough for you? Why? Not? Jesus?

Yes Brother Lukes. Why do they ignore Jesus and worship Mary? What's next? Worship Eve because she committed the Original Sin? This worship of women is the reason we know Catholics are not True Christians™.

I've had many arguments with you people on the differences between our two religions, and there is one point that bugs me more than any other: Mary worship.
