    Re: 11 deadly sins of the Catholic Church

    The woman being described in Proverbs 31 has a price above rubies. SHE IS RARE. A woman capable of financial competence and decision-making is by nature rare, and as precious as rubies. You feminists thinks that ALL women are capable of decision making, and that is against the Bible, in particular, against Proverbs 31!

    I said EDUCATED, not smart. You're the one misquoting here. Here is what God says about Women:

    Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
    (Women exist only to serve men.)

    Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

    Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
    (Women are property. Less valuable than a house but more valuable than slaves and livestock.)

    Matthew 18:25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
    (Jesus considers women (and children) to be property that can be sold.)

    1st Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
    1st Corinthians 11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
    1st Corinthians 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
    1st Corinthians 11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
    1st Corinthians 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
    1st Corinthians 11:8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
    1st Corinthians 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
    1st Corinthians 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

    1st Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
    1st Corinthians 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

    1st Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
    1st Timothy 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
    1st Timothy 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
    1st Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
    1st Timothy 2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
    1st Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
    1st Timothy 2:15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

    Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
    Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
    Ephesians 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

    Colossians 3:18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord

    Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
    Titus 2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
    Titus 2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

    1st Peter 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
    1st Peter 3:2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
    1st Peter 3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
    1st Peter 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
    1st Peter 3:5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
    1st Peter 3:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

        I am sick of your disrespectful comments and jokes. I respect your fervor and extremism for your religion, as I am fervent and extreme in mine. However, I do not respect your disdain for the dignity of humanity, your pick-and-choose quotations of the Bible, especially your preference for Old Testament teachings over New Testament teachings. I do not respect your condemnation or I-am-God statements telling people that if they don’t have a trademark next to their name, they are going to hell. There is nothing about that in the Bible, by the way.
        May God’s mercy change your ruthless uncompassionate hearts and help you to become Christ-like. I pray for your eternal souls and the souls of all those who you are leading to confusion and lies. I hope that one day you realize the harm you are causing and find the truth. As for me, I came to peacefully and respectfully talk about our differences and to ask you why you accuse my faith of awful things that I know are not true. I am leaving because I can see that no one here is receptive to anything. May God open your hearts and bless you with the truth, so that you may find salvation.
        Know that you have my prayers. I may be furious with you, but because Christ loves your souls, so do I.

          Friend, the Bible doesn't contradict itself, but you certainly do.
          The Bible says so. I believe that a woman can be smart and educated and hardworking, just like Proverbs 31 says. I believe that a woman should be completely respected by men and by her husband. I believe that, while different, men and women are equal in the eyes of God.
          If women are so great, why can't they become Pope?

          Friend, GOD disdains human dignity. Read the Bible.
          your pick-and-choose quotations of the Bible
          Posting THREE WHOLE CHAPTERS is picking and choosing?
          , especially your preference for Old Testament teachings over New Testament teachings.
          We love and respect all of God's word. If God wrote more in the OT than He did in the NT, it's not surprising that we tend to quote it more.

          O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

          God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

                Are you saying there's a contradiction between the OT and the NT as in regards to the fact that God want homersexuals dead?
                Or do you simply want the verses stating such from the NT?
                If so, here you go. And as brother Jeb said: Enjoy!

                For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:
                For even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
                And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another;
                Men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
                And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
                Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
                Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
                Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
                Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
                Romans 1:26-32

                You ignore most parts of the OT because you don't like it, all there is to it.
                But Jesus said:

                But he answered and said,
                It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
                Matthew 4:4

                I do not respect your condemnation or I-am-God statements telling people that if they don’t have a trademark next to their name, they are going to hell. There is nothing about that in the Bible, by the way.
                When did we ever say you must have a trademark next to your name to be Saved?
                Quote us actually saying that or stop making false accusations (like your father satan) and putting words in our mouths.

                May God’s mercy change your ruthless uncompassionate hearts and help you to become Christ-like.
                You obviously don't have a clue as to what being Christ-like is.
                Christ supported the law and in it's entirety (Matthew 5:17-18) and thus the death penalty.
                And not only for homersexuality but He is especially harsh on rebellious children.

                For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother:
                And, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
                Matthew 15:4

                That's Christ Himself speaking, fool.

                As for me, I came to peacefully and respectfully talk about our differences and to ask you why you accuse my faith of awful things that I know are not true.
                Uh-huh.. Right you did.

                I am leaving because I can see that no one here is receptive to anything.
                You're right, we are as unreceptive to your nonsense as you are unreceptive to the Bible.
                If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
                A foolish woman is clamorous: She is simple, and knoweth nothing.
                Proverbs 9:12-13

                    No.

                    No.

                    Yes. At the time. I believe in the Bible and I believe in God's infinite wisdom. But when Jesus came, he came preaching a message of forgiveness and mercy. "Turning the other cheek" and "not judging". Believing anything else, especially believing that Christ cannot forgive certain sinners, is heretical.
                    Argh A papist but be that as it may I could not resist. I won't quote the Bible to you because you probably won't look it up anyway.
                    First of all...the new covenant with God is faith...the new article of law as explained by Jesus, correct?
                    The old covenant of the law was circumcision. The laws of Deuteronomy and Leviticus etc can be found explaining much of the pre-Jesus time period-incidentally it would have been the accepted Jewish laws of Moses during Christ's time as well.
                    We know that the old laws pertaining to homosexuality bestiality etc were not changed because in first Corinthians it clearly states that sodomites and effeminates will not enter the kingdom of Heaven. It is also mentioned in Romans. (I'd have to do a quick check but I know my Bible fairly well and also understand it enough to explain it without pulling Scriptures left right and centre out of the air).
                    Saying that...you still have not answered the question correctly. You answered it incorrectly using that old stand by politically correct christianity *all lower case because it's rubbish*

                    By saying you do not agree to the old laws which were transferred over to the New Testament you are saying you are better, kinder, wiser than God and guess what punkin? That's an abomination. Are you looking to be worshipped because you think you're better than our Almighty father?

                    Also remember the King James Bible is the only Bible worth reading. You might want to be also aware that the New King James is nothing more than new age magical tripe and should be considered on par with all the rest of the dodgy bibles that soften up the scriptures so pc christians like you can sleep at night.

                    To you agents of false religions and atheists...
                    Proverbs 16:2
