    Well sure, but nobody on here believes in science enough to do such an extraordinary feat.
    Plus, if it was actually possible for Jesus to walk on water then we must be able to walk in an unoccupied and gravity less area with ease!

    Nonsense. God created the planets and all of the other stars, so they are not Satanic. See Genesis 1:14-18.

    If I say Goths are evil, and I then proceed to say the Bible is against evil, then I would conclude that the Bible is anti-Goth.
    We are not against things because they are evil. After all, God created evil:

    I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Isaiah 45:7

    We are against Goths because you dress like demons, paint your faces, engage in Satanic orgies and black magic, and, in general, mock all that is good and decent around you.

    You misdiscovered. NASA did not name the planets, the Romans did, as they thought the planets were literally gods. What NASA has done, if anything, has shown us they are not gods (but of course, we all knew that). But anyway, yeah, The Romans named them and the names just stuck.

    The only exceptions to these are Ur*filth removed* and Neptune, but neither of these were discovered by NASA. They were named by their discoverers back in the 1700s and 1800s (for Ur*filth removed* and Neptune, respectively).

    You people don't modify your understanding of the scriptures to fit everyday life... you change your understanding of everyday life to fit an example of scripture.

    For example, if I said that puppies practice witchcraft, then of course I would then claim the Bible is against puppies. If I said planets are Satanic, then of course I would say that since the scriptures are anti-Satanic, the scriptures must be anti-planets. If I say Goths are evil, and I then proceed to say the Bible is against evil, then I would conclude that the Bible is anti-Goth.

    I can't believe I'm hearing this! Gothilla is a GOTH who 'thinks' she is a Christian. But in reality - There is no such thing as a Christian Goth!

    We have discussed this fact more times on these forums than I care to mention. You cannot dress like some sick morbid freak, be in a cult, listen to sinister violent gothic music, hang around with satanic trash, AND still be a Christian. It is just ridiculous to even think you can. These people are freaks! It would be wise to remember that.

    1 Corinthians 11:14 “Does not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame to him?” Paul is saying that common sense—“nature”—tells us that men should look like men, not women. They should not have long hair, because it is a sin—“a shame.”

    This principle applies to the way Goths dress. Typically and historically, it has been women who wear eyeliner, lipstick and make-up and dress in a feminine manner. Even in today’s liberal, laid-back society, it is still mostly women who do this. However in recent decades we have seen grown men choosing to live “alternative lifestyles”, often chosing to pierce their ears, wear make-up and torn fishnet clothing as a signal to others.

    Notice Deuteronomy 2:5: “The woman shall not wear that which pertains unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord your God.” An abomination to God, eh? That sounds just like the Goths. Remember, it is a SIN for men to appear effeminate!

    Zephaniah 1:8 states, “And it shall come to pass in the day of the Lord’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.” Strange Apparel? Well you don't get more strange than the Goths.

    Another scriptural principle applies. Aside from looking unmanly, men dressed as Goths have traditionally been viewed as strange, outlandish, or rebellious. And we know what the Bible has to say on rebellion.

    1 Samuel 15:23 clearly states "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft."

    And we all know what the Bible has to say about witchcraft.

    Now, as with Gothic males, Gothic females dress in a similar, though more whorish and rebellious attire. Attire NOT suitable for a Christian woman in the slightest. Here is what the Bible has to say about how a Christian woman should dress -

    "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But with good works. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve.” 1 Timothy 2:9

    The Bible instructs all Christian women to dress modestly. One aspect of dressing modestly is making sure everything that should be covered by clothing is adequately covered. However another aspect to modesty is not drawing attention to yourself. People who dress modestly dress in such a way that they do not draw attention to themselves. Do goths dress modestly? No. They dress like sick satanic freaks. Covered in piercings and tattoos, torn fishnet stockings, PVC, rubber, basques, and gay bondage clothing. Dressing up in such a manner is a direct defiance of God.

    It should be a matter of common sense that Christian should not dress like a Goth. The apostle Paul wrote, “Abstain from all appearance of evil” (1 Thes. 5:22). So, even appearance in a matter is important. And this is before we even go into the open perversion in the way Goth's dress.

    GOTHS ARE A WALKING ABOMINATION TO GOD !

    I don't intend to be presumptuous, but it seems clear to me that this Gothgila is a fine young Christian woman who is undergoing the same struggles as millions of young Christians. It's a little unfair to expect critical analysis from her.

    When I was a younger man I believed in all of this scienazi crap too: ten planets, germs, even old-earth. I think it's hard for the saved to recognize the pressures placed on young people to accept this kind of nonsense.

    I'd always believed that the people at NASA were good, God-fearing Christians-- maybe my parents raised me to be a little more optimistic and respectful than is really appropriate. I thought, why would they lie?

    Then I made a shocking discovery. NASA named the ten planets after the old Roman "gods"-- or should I say demons, seeing as that's what they are? Mercury, the demon of magic. Mars, the demon of war. Pluto, the demon of death. And Jupiter, the king of all the Roman demons. These are the demons that Christ expelled from the Roman emperor Constantine when he began the glorious partnership of government and faith (that is sadly now in tatters). When I made that discovery, I saw NASA for it is: an organization of satanists. Rearrange the letters and add a t, and what do you have?

    If NASA told me that Christ is the Truth, the Way, and the Lite, I might think twice. (No, I'm exaggerating, I know that He is.) I certainly have no more faith in other planets than I do in a million year old Earth. It's hard to learn to think critically like this, but God gave me a brain for a reason.

    Ahimaaz was a High Priest of God. In his youth, he was known for delivering good news to the godly and for hiding in the homes of married ladies to spy on rebellious Jews. It's a name that suits me well.

    If you'd read the Bible, you'd know these things. Heck, if you knew how to use Google you'd know these things. It's sad, the mindlessness with which we have to deal.
