You're right. Our God is an awesome God. However, I don't believe it is loving or logical to resort to ad hominem attacks in the form of words or infractions when there is a question that cannot be answered with solely the Bible.

I am truly searching for an answer to my question. I believe there are plenty of brilliant scientists working on an answer to my question. That's all I want. I don't see any point in which I blasphemed the Holy Spirit. All I did was ask a question about the theory proposed concerning gravity.

We are told to love our friends AND our enemies - although I hope I'm not considered an enemy - and the Bible is very clear about brotherly love. All I want is to be guided by those who know the truth.

Please help.

1) This raises another question that might go to another thread. How could God, who is perfectly good, create evil? Isn't evil against God's character? Sorry about the new topic, there is probably a better thread for that question.

2) Again this does not address my question. You have explained the origin of wickedness and evil-doers. What I asked, however, is why said evildoers have not met their destruction. In particular - again, to bring it back to the subject of this thread - since gravity is nothing more than an unproved theory and God controls what goes up and down, why does God tolerate evil and wickedness to survive on Earth.

Since the Bible says nothing about aardvarks, how do you know they exist?

You're right. Like I said before, though, that wasn't the point of my post at all. I wasn't confused about the difference of ascending and flying. I was confused about the concept of Intelligent Falling and Intelligent Pulling and the Character of God. The logical fallacy of presenting an unrelated topic in order to draw attention from the main objection is called A Red Herring. If you are truly interested in answering the question, please do so, like Redeemed Papist did with love and patience. Please do not distract me from discovering the truth with minor problems in definition.

I understand what you're saying, that God works in mysterious ways. However, many have posted that the KJV1611 makes perfect sense when read all the way through. I agree that the Bible makes perfect sense. This makes another problem for me, though.

Psalm 9:5 says,
"Thou hast rebuked the heathen, Thou hast destroyed the wicked, Thou hast put out their name for ever and ever."

If God has truly destroyed the wicked, then why are there still atheists, homosexuals, etc. In particular - to address the original issue of this thread - why does God's will work in favor of the wicked?

Psalm 11:5 says,
"The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence His soul hateth."

Ok, so if Gravity as most understand doesn't exist, then it is truly God (working through either Intelligent Falling or Intelligent Pulling) that is in work. If this is true, then why don't atheists - or Satan, for that matter - fly off and die somewhere? Doesn't God hate atheists, Satan, homosexuals, etc?

Maybe I've read this whole entire thread wrong, but if God controls what goes up and what goes down, then why doesn't he just eliminate those who oppose Him?

Jesus Himself ascended to Heaven without wings, did He not? I agree that perhaps my wording was not the best, but it still does not answer my concern.

Why does God's gift of being pulled down to Earth also apply to those who mock, scoff at, and generally oppose Him?

I'm going to be honest here, I used to believe in gravity but after reading this thread, it makes so much sense that Gravity is some sort of trick that those atheist "Scientists" want you to believe to deter you from God!


Also, I'm very new to this forum. I need a lot more salvation and understanding before I get to heaven!
