Son, seawater is a highly buffered solution that is safely alkaline by a wide margin. Even if all the known reserves of fossil fuels were burned the oceans would still not turn acidic. The only person that could possibly turn the oceans acidic is Jesus – and only if He came down with a severe case of hyperuricosuria and urinated massive amounts of His piss into the oceans. With a case of hyperuricosuria, Jesus would also likely have a severe case of kidney stones and be in a great deal of pain – possibly greater than He suffered for your sins of ignorance on the Holy Cross. He would also be likely to be in an extremely foul mood and single you out for some exquisite punishment.

It's time for you to make Jesus and yourself happy by reading the Bible (KJV1611), and after you've done that you might benefit from an introductory course in inorganic chemistry.

As I explained in a previous post (or maybe it was one of those acid flashbacks, I'm not sure), global warming is real but it's all part of a Democratic conspiracy to produce a Hell on earth so Satan will feel at home.

What's happening is that every year, the Democrats extend Daylight Savings Time. And any fool can figure out that if you add a hour a day, for months on end, it's going to heat up the earth's surface. It's got nothing to do with Godly American companies like Exxon-Mobil, General Motors and Peabody Coal.

Part II of the plot is to create panic. That's why we got all them liberal satellites that Bill Clinton and Al Gore put into space to keep broadcasting images of melting glaciers and ice caps. It's psychological warfare...nay, an act of terrorism! One of the leading Clinton/Gore terrorists is NASA "scientist" James E Hanson, who is in fact Osama bin Laden's son. Hansen is also the hitman Hillary used to murder her squeeze, Vincent Foster.

Nevertheless, despite all these attempts by liberals to heat up the earth and sow panic, they are on a fool's errands. As White House Spokeswoman Dana Perino just recently pointed out, global warming has many health benefits. It will keep the homeless warm in winter, and reduces harm from frostbite, hypothermia, and the flu:

It should be noted that all these global warming doomsayers are the same hippies who only a few decades ago were whining about the slowly-growing ozone hole opening up over antarctica. Don't these lefties realize the market potential (think of how much SPF 50 sunblock lotion American companies could sell)!



That's the way these liberals are, always worrying about rain forests and saving the gay whales. They ought to be worrying about saving their souls.

It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming; It is a SCAM. Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create an allusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental whacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the “research” to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon they claimed to be a consensus.

Environmental extremists, notable politicians among them, then teamed up with movie, media and other liberal, environmentalist journalists to create this wild “scientific” scenario of the civilization threatening environmental consequences from Global Warming unless we adhere to their radical agenda. Now their ridiculous manipulated science has been accepted as fact and become a cornerstone issue for CNN, CBS, NBC, the Democratic Political Party, the Governor of California, school teachers and, in many cases, well informed but very gullible environmentally conscientious citizens. Only one reporter at ABC has been allowed to counter the Global Warming frenzy with one 15 minute documentary segment.

I do not oppose environmentalism. I do not oppose the political positions of either party. However, Global Warming, i.e. Climate Change, is not about environmentalism or politics. It is not a religion. It is not something you “believe in.” It is science; the science of meteorology. This is my field of life-long expertise. And I am telling you Global Warming is a non-event, a manufactured crisis and a total scam. I say this knowing you probably won’t believe a me, a mere TV weatherman, challenging a Nobel Prize, Academy Award and Emmy Award winning former Vice President of United States. So be it.

I have read dozens of scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied. I have thought about it. I know I am correct. There is no run away climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. Our planet is not in peril. I am incensed by the incredible media glamour, the politically correct silliness and rude dismissal of counter arguments by the high priest of Global Warming.

In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious. As the temperature rises, polar ice cap melting, coastal flooding and super storm pattern all fail to occur as predicted everyone will come to realize we have been duped. The sky is not falling. And, natural cycles and drifts in climate are as much if not more responsible for any climate changes underway. I strongly believe that the next twenty years are equally as likely to see a cooling trend as they are to see a warming trend.

I find it tiresome to eat all these grains, legumes and vegetables. In an advanced Christian nation we have division of labor, that means we outsource these tasks and let the animals eat them - then we eat the animals. Eating vegan causes other problems as well. Just look at what happens to the dotheads when they eat this stuff. They start having hallucinations and inventing all kinds of strange gods with hundreds of arms. There is nothing more healthy than a Godly American steak grilled over hot mesquite.

The only beans I like are those delicious Texas Baked Beans that go so well with a thick, mesquite grilled porterhouse steak. One of the nigra boys who works for me does them pretty well.

I agree with Pastor Pistle and Brother William; God intended for us to feast on animal flesh. Even He loves that savory smell!

Absolutely correct Brother Bryan! God filled Texas with mesquite so we could invent Barbeque done the RIGHT way and he gave us all those cattle to eat lentils and chickpeas for us. There is nothing I hate more than having to eat food twice and still be hungry. If I wanted to exist on tortillas and refried beans, I could have been a messcan.

Walking damages planet more than going by car

Walking does more than driving to cause global warming, a leading environmentalist has calculated.

Food production is now so energy-intensive that more carbon is emitted providing a person with enough calories to walk to the shops than a car would emit over the same distance. The climate could benefit if people avoided exercise, ate less and became couch potatoes. Provided, of course, they remembered to switch off the TV rather than leaving it on standby.

The sums were done by Chris Goodall, campaigning author of How to Live a Low-Carbon Life, based on the greenhouse gases created by intensive beef production. “Driving a typical UK car for 3 miles [4.8km] adds about 0.9 kg [2lb] of CO2 to the atmosphere,” he said, a calculation based on the Government’s official fuel emission figures. “If you walked instead, it would use about 180 calories. You’d need about 100g of beef to replace those calories, resulting in 3.6kg of emissions, or four times as much as driving.

“The troubling fact is that taking a lot of exercise and then eating a bit more food is not good for the global atmosphere. Eating less and driving to save energy would be better.”

Mr Goodall, Green Party parliamentary candidate for Oxford West & Abingdon, is the latest serious thinker to turn popular myths about the environment on their head.

Catching a diesel train is now twice as polluting as travelling by car for an average family, the Rail Safety and Standards Board admitted recently. Paper bags are worse for the environment than plastic because of the extra energy needed to manufacture and transport them, the Government says.

Fresh research published in New Scientistlast month suggested that 1kg of meat cost the Earth 36kg in global warming gases. The figure was based on Japanese methods of industrial beef production but Mr Goodall says that farming techniques are similar throughout the West.

What if, instead of beef, the walker drank a glass of milk? The average person would need to drink 420ml – three quarters of a pint – to recover the calories used in the walk. Modern dairy farming emits the equivalent of 1.2kg of CO2 to produce the milk, still more pollution than the car journey.

Cattle farming is notorious for its perceived damage to the environment, based on what scientists politely call “methane production” from cows. The gas, released during the digestive process, is 21 times more harmful than CO2 . Organic beef is the most damaging because organic cattle emit more methane.

Michael O’Leary, boss of the budget airline Ryanair, has been widely derided after he was reported to have said that global warming could be solved by massacring the world’s cattle. “The way he is running around telling people they should shoot cows,” Lawrence Hunt, head of Silverjet, another budget airline, told the Commons Environmental Audit Committee. “I do not think you can really have debates with somebody with that mentality.”

But according to Mr Goodall, Mr O’Leary may have a point. “Food is more important [to Britain’s greenhouse emissions] than aircraft but there is no publicity,” he said. “Associated British Foods isn’t being questioned by MPs about energy.

“We need to become accustomed to the idea that our food production systems are equally damaging. As the man from Ryanair says, cows generate more emissions than aircraft. Unfortunately, perhaps, he is right. Of course, this doesn’t mean we should always choose to use air or car travel instead of walking. It means we need urgently to work out how to reduce the greenhouse gas intensity of our foodstuffs.”

Simply cutting out beef, or even meat, however, would be too modest a change. The food industry is estimated to be responsible for a sixth of an individual’s carbon emissions, and Britain may be the worst culprit.

“This is not just about flying your beans from Kenya in the winter,” Mr Goodall said. “The whole system is stuffed with energy and nitrous oxide emissions. The UK is probably the worst country in the world for this.

“We have industrialised our food production. We use an enormous amount of processed food, like ready meals, compared to most countries. Three quarters of supermarkets’ energy is to refrigerate and freeze food prepared elsewhere.

A chilled ready meal is a perfect example of where the energy is wasted. You make the meal, then use an enormous amount of energy to chill it and keep it chilled through warehousing and storage.”

The ideal diet would consist of cereals and pulses. “This is a route which virtually nobody, apart from a vegan, is going to follow,” Mr Goodall said. But there are other ways to reduce the carbon footprint. “Don’t buy anything from the supermarket,” Mr Goodall said, “or anything that’s travelled too far.”
