And here I am with a public school education and two bachelors degrees.

My sons however are homeschooled, the oldest graded in the 95th percentile for grade 3 (Home schooling has been common in BC for years because of the remoteness of some locations).

Considering the spelling and thinking abilities that I have seen from the "educated" liebrals that come here, I don't want my child to get that kind of education. i men lik ded lurn 2 typ lik dis and des b smrt.

We've warned Texas about flirting with the devil and tolerating evil (as in liberalism). Look were it got them? Now it is ILLEGAL for Christians to teach other Christians. Now we are REQUIRED by LAW to have "broad based" (as in lied to) educations or we can't pass the so called accreditation boards.

NO MAN CAN STAND BETWEEN ANOTHER MAN AND GOD, that is a central tenant of TRUE Christianity! The Bible is the ONLY source of the TRUTH. That is why Christian Educators need to be able to TEACH their students what Jesus tells them to, so those students can understand Christ message PROPERLY!

Didn't Texas at least force book publishers to insert a warning in biology tetxts about the dangers of evilutionism?

It's gotten to the point where it isn't even safe to send a child to public schools. We can't have them being taught deceitful science by atheist-biased teachers. This is a Christian nation, and children have the right to be taught the truth. Show them the evidence disproving evolution, show them the evidence for the validity of the Bible, and DON'T COMPROMISE!!!

Fortunately, Landover Baptist University teaches creationism as the truth in our science curriculum. You can also learn about evolution at LBU but that is in a comparative religions class.

Creationism in science classes, evolution in religion classes! That's where they belong.

You are so right Reverend Osborne! As a Scientheist, I know next to nothing about evolution and related cultural studies topics like astronomy and ecology. We leave those topics to untenured seminary graduates.

The thing that frightens me, Mr. Bathfire, is that if they aren't teaching Creationism to the young people of Texas, what on Earth are they teaching them? The "monkeys did it" theory? Or are they just teaching them all how to get around abortion regulations using common household items?
