God was always there. He just created evolution of man.

Oh and Lisa, as for your worth, I'll leave that up to the fire in the chimney, the silk of the sheets, and the playfullness in between. This talk of money is cheep and petty at best. Their long suffering was neglected when they thought they knew. Mine however isn't.

Re: What did the Lord evolve from?
As if reading a book can educate a person on the unknown God! The only people that think they can know God are those who are self important and arrogant. And if any of it was even remotely true then the luster of what you thought was true would have come to a state of fruition a long time ago. And as history has proven it hasn't. Cause if it had your devotion would no longer matter since the Messiah would have already come and gone. Which reminds me the 144,000 who get left behind ,who's going to come back and get them since the second coming will be the last?Originally posted by Phebe Carlyle View PostThe rest of your gobbity gook is just crazy secular science talk. God is well beyond your comprehension romank and will remain so while you continue to fill your mind with convoluted secular science THEORIES.
Why don't you read the book of TRUTH for a change - The KJV1611. Sure, it proves all your silly theories wrong, but are you man enough to handle THE TRUTH!!??

I don't know what sort of vacuum cleaner you have but mine heats up when used; hence proving that vacuum's certainly don't cause a drop in temperature.Originally posted by RomanK View Postfrom a vaccuum, XYZ created the first dimple sphere, there in created a nest of sphere's, like that of prime matter. Vaccuum caused the temp to drop. The temp created a ice shell around the prime element. The center or nest spheres were placed in a friction like environment, a standing point of 3 dimple spheres, thus causing two of them to make contact and rub against each other causing heat, or logarithmic spiral. Thus creating light.

Lycia, I notice that in a former career, you were, umm, for rent by the hour instead of for sale. How did your rental prices then compare with your purchase price now, taking into account, of course, inflation?
If your parents are hell-bound liberals, who gets the money then?

Well, I don't THINK so, but I would throw one in just to be safe. When you're giving money to God you can never give too much, but you CAN give too little.Originally posted by Able's Avenger! I think your numbers are a bit low (even the pre-Roman occupation Shekel is ~180 grain weight (~3/8 tr. oz. - ~11.7g) but that doesn't take into account purity, probably at most 90%
3/8 tr. oz. x $26.37/tr. oz. x 90% x 50 = ~$445 ($454 w/tax)
I just went by a wickedpedia article which said shekels ranged from between 9 and 17 grams, and I also assumed 100% purity just for ease of calculations. I really don't know though, this math stuff is hard for my feminine brain!

Psssst . . . Sister Cindy Lou seems to be working quite a deal over there. Just think how much they could tithe! Don't you want to help fund the Lord's Work? Imagine, a Muslim's money going to the church! Besides, as a woman, how else could you contribute?Originally posted by Lisa H View PostI do not care what you say. I am not for sale. Got it!

She (and me too, incidentally) is worth between $206.31 and $389.70. Then you need to add in one shekel of sanctuary which is worth between $6.88 and $12.99, and you have our price!

I do not care what you say. I am not for sale. Got it!Originally posted by Able's Avenger! View PostI forget where I read $1,500 is the equivalent of 50 silver shekels.
But it is wrong. I have no idea how to consider cost of living between now and then, and I am not going to try, but in Roman times, a shekel was a unit of weight that was about 14g (230 grain weight). At 94% purity, despite very high spot prices of silver due to liberal manipulations to devalue the U.S. Dollar, that is ~215 grain weight per shekel @ $26.37 per troy ounce (480 grain weight) on the New York Spot Silver bid.
43/96 x $26.37 x 50 is $590.58 at the current exchange rate. So it's only ~$600 in today's money to buy a wife. Glory!
(In other words, divide all dollar values for Lisa by 2.5)

Where is the money from? What is it being spent on? The answer to these questions is in the same chapter you quoted from, as you well know.Deuteronomy 14:26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,
Your familiar, vile manner with good Christian women is an affront. You would not converse with women like this in your own culture, hypocrite. Of course, your religion is full of hypocrisy. Fasting during Ramadan? What fast? You all gorge your gluttenous bellies full as soon as the sun sets. Perhaps you think your god cannot see at night?
