    As I have said many times, racism is not tolerated at LBC.

    You have not really answered the question.

    Are you glad you are not a baboon? Yes or No

    He wrote: "Thank God that I'm a normal white person and not some baboon"

    By writing that, he says he's happy he's white (no problem with that), and not a black person (because this thread is about black people look like apes).
    If he was happy that he wasn't born as an animal, he would have written, "Thank God that I'm a normal white person and not a baboon". Subtle difference.

    Either way, i didn't see proof in this thread that black people look like apes. Saying that without proof is in my opinion racism.

    Do you have eyes?

    Did you not look at the study I linked to?

    There is the actual quote - but I could have edited it? ..so Here's a link to the post:

    Mr. King never mentioned black people.

    As I said, he wrote baboon because the thread is talking about apes.

    Again you are confusing what he said;
    "Thank God that I'm a normal white person and not some baboon."

    Lets put it another way;
    Are you glad you are not a baboon?

    Writing and meaning are not necessarily the same. You can take ANY piece of writing and TWIST the meaning to suit your own arguments. Like you just did there just now.

    That is not racist. He could have said;

    Thank God that I'm a normal white person and not some Goldfish.

    Nobar is thanking God he was not born an animal, since this thread is talking about apes, it only correct to say baboon. It would sound silly to another animal.

    That's like comparing a fish to a rocking chair and constructing a theory around it called 'Why neither of these is a true quadruped'.

    So, no. Magnets are a non-starter here.
