I have tried it i went to a Christian school where we had to read the bible. After reading it even at the young age of 11 i was able to tell that it was little more than a fairy story. I stoped believing in god as there is to much suffering in the world for there to be something that is meant to be a force for good. Also the bible contradicts it self so often and basically says that incest is good with the story of god only creating two people but now there are billions of people. If you use logic thought you will realise that the bible is nothing more than a way to scare people into been good.

It is impossible for The Bible to contain any contradictions because it is The Word Of God.

Seriously there is real evidence of life going back millions of years things like fossils. What evidence is there for the earth being 6000 years old other than some people writing it in a book. The fossils prove that evolution took a long time, not five seconds. Also the reason the lifegard saved you is because its his job to stand at the pool and stop people drowning. Your prayer had nothing to do with it.

We know your pet scientists like to look at selected bits of stuff and make measurements that match what they dreamed up to hate God with. But they never look at all the evidence. Once you've looked at the Holy Bible and accepted Jesus as your personal saviour you can see how much stronger God is than all this silliness about stone animals and so on.

Perhaps you should try it instead of making Jesus cry by spurning His temporary sacrifice on your behalf.

To the original problem. God didn't put the life guard there, the people who own the pool did. He would have saved you even if you weren't Christian.

WRONG! If the lifeguard weren't Christian then he would not be working at the Whitford estate. And a True Christian™ would leave it up to God to decide whether someone lived or died. It is obvious from Mrs. Whitford's explanation that God himself intervened and prompted the lifeguard to jump in the water and save her.

Second, like many others have pointed out, evolution is not instant. It takes time, generations as those who are more fit move their genes along the line.

Which just serves to prove Mrs. Whitford's point. God is real; He saves. Evolution is false because by the time that phantasmagorical theory worked Sister Mary would have drowned.

And Cursed, I don't think Jesus would do that. According to bible we don't get to Heaven until Apocalypse. And then Jesus would be the last person to start showing hell and the people there for you to mock. People like you make Jesus sad.

Thats not how evolution works. Evolution takes millions of years. As we have already been born we will not evolve.
I am not saying I think that evolution is true but as Christians we cannot prove something wrong with incorrect facts or we begin to slander our own name.

Oh you filthy atheists can't even decide what is evolution and what is not. Sure it "takes millions" of years except when you are trying to prove it to be correct. If you are trying to prove it then you set up some experiment trying to "prove" it but all you really end up doing is showing that if someone intelligently designs a situation you can change a life form (you will also got to hell for altering gods work).

I would have prayed to GOD to take me into heaven right then and there!

Just think, you could be sitting on Jesus' lap right now eating some delicious Heavenly ice cream. He'd be stroking your hair and you'd both be chuckling and snuggling and eating ice cream and happy and the temperature would be just right you'd be all cozy with a full belly and just feeling perfect, not an ache or an itch anywhere, everything is just right.

And just when you think things couldn't get any better, Jesus would point down, and you'd realize if you wanted to you could focus your eyes and you could see Hell and all of the sinners burning in the lake of fire. You follow Jesus' finger and realize he's pointing to the girl who broke your heart in seventh grade, and she's burning in Hell and screaming and she can see you too and she holds out her twisted, melting hands and begs you for just a drop of water wailing that she'll do anything for just a drop of water and you watch her for a moment and then you look at Jesus and He looks at you and both of you burst out laughing.

But how do you know that the earth is, in fact, as old as you claim? The Bible does not give a specific date, and Genesis 1:1 was not written personally by God, like in the New Testament where they were physical accounts of Jesus' words.

IMO, how God created the universe, whether in six-days or 4-billion years, is spiritually irrelevant.
