Their motivation is very simple: Cold hard cash. Organizations like NASA steal billions of dollars every year from hard working Americans promoting the idea that there is a Round Earth, and spending money on “rockets”, “scientists” and “research”, yet all they have to show for their efforts are a few testimonials from the people who are on NASA’s payroll.

Thank you for this informative research. As a teacher of impressionable children, it is my responsibility to prepare them for life. As a Christian teacher, part of that responsibility is to prepare them for the lies of Satan. This is very helpful and with your permission, I would like to develop a lesson plan for my classroom based on this.

My mistake, thank you for clearing this up for me. It is difficult for even me to get an education in true science with all of the lies surrounding how the Earth works. I'll be sure to remember this for future reference.

To Averagejoe: Billy Bob Jenkins is correct in saying that I haven't been formally educated in creation science yet. I'll try to answer questions you have with the limited knowledge that I have, but in the event my answer is different than that of a True Christian™, you should go with that True Christian's™ answer.

Even so, I think the general point I was trying to make was similar. The sun resolves around the Earth spreads light on particular areas. The fact that you would cling onto something small like whether or not pivoting is involved and make that the only point of your statement while ignoring everything else shows me your clear bias toward Round Earth science.

Do not fret, friend. We were not meant to understand things that aren't in the Bible. It is amazing that we know as much as we do.

You are also right about the obvious bias portrayed by our damned friend. How does he ever hope to escape the flames of Hell if he scurries under the baseboards like a cockroach every time the light of Jesus appears?

Jesus is the Light - John 8:12. Time zones are a creation of man and another heathen lie. If someone to the East of me was ahead of me in time, then they would be able to telephone me with winning lottery numbers! Not to mention that planes and other forms of transportation would have to be time machines! Clearly these heathen lies do not stand up to experience! Neither the sun or the Earth need to go back in forth of swing. The sun revolves around the Earth, and the sun just happens to illuminate part of the Earth but not all of it at the same time.

Think of it like a guard with a lantern or a flashlight walking around a large dark room in a circle. At all times some of the room is lit up (the part closest to the guard), and as the guard moves parts of the room that are away from the guard start to fade out and become dark. The sun of course representing the lantern here.

As far as no evidence of a flat Earth being presented to you, there was a lot of evidence right in the opening post. You're a mindless science follower, so perhaps this will get complicated for you, but try to keep up. We are in a forum right now, in that forum, there are "threads". What you are posting on now is actually the third page of that thread, and there were posts made relevant to the thread earlier. Specifically, I'm talking about the first page, where the "opening post" is made. In this post, there was the evidence that I was referring to.

Tactile sensory perception allows you to experience a sphere (tennis ball, or exceptional potato) from multiple sides. Not true with sight, which presents everything in 2D. Also, you are mistaken - the moon only has one side, which always remains the same. Sometimes it is light and sometimes it is dark, and sometimes partially so, but the appearance is always the same. The demon worshipping heliocentrists claim that a spherical moon rotates around the Earth and also simultaneously rotates upon its own axis so that the same face of that sphere always faces the Earth. This is clearly ridiculous! Obviously a flat disc facing the Earth is a much more viable explanation. Even the heathen principle of Ockham's razor supports it!

I can see the moon out of my bedroom window right now. It appears spherical. When I look out at the moon in 1 month it will have rotated but will still appear spherical (I wont see a thin flat disc like the side of a coin). Why is this?

The definition of a pivot is where it would act as a swing. Either it would go back and forth about its pivot, which time zones don't do, or it would have to wrap around which would leave the whole world in darkness for a while. Which is it? No evidence of a flat earth has been presented to me??
