    Say NO to unity

In recent times we have all been hearing calls for 'unity' among 'Christians'. In recent days I have been prompted to think on this again, as I have seen it mentioned on various web forums, and it was mentioned to me by people I know on the phone.

All over the place there seems to be a move to get 'Christians' to rush together into some form of outward show of 'being together'. There is the wicked ecumenical movement, which has been around for some time, and seems to be gaining ground. But there is also a move among those who know the Truth in some measure to get together. Recently there was a meeting of 'Evangelical' churches in one town I know, which even included the Anglicans! In that meeting they, the Pentecostals, the Methodists, and Baptists, and others, came together. It did not include the Catholics of course, but I feel it is only a matter of time, as very few of the above have a reputation for standing on the Truth.

But is all this what the Lord wants?

As I have posted somewhere else; it is not a matter of getting together outwardly, but the grounds of fellowship can ONLY be those that the Lord lays out. In the first instance we want to know if someone is born again or not. And you can only tell that spiritually. If someone is plainly born again only then do we move on to whether they hold the Truth or not. There are some who are born again but have either refused to leave some wicked religion that they adhere to, or who have been poisoned from the Truth by wrong teaching. Either way we could not allow that in any meeting.

Very few will even begin to address the first ground for fellowship, simply because, in my experience, very few in most churches are actually saved. Most just have a religion about the Lord, but they do not know Him, and are not with Him. Very few professing Christians have ever heard the Lord God speak to them, yet that is exactly what Christ gave His life for!

My point is simple; there are essentially two camps of 'Christians', those who are actually born again, and are with Him, and those who are mere churchy people. In the UK that second group seems to me to be about 95% of the churchgoing population, and I expect you have a similar percentage in America. Among the churchy you will find many who are 'nice' and 'cheery' and sincerely hold some correct doctrines, and are very committed. However, they are no more saved than those down the road in the Cult of the Dead Woman, who are also committed and sincere.

So all this rushing together which is going on is, in my view, utterly spurious. Most who go to those meetings are not saved, and are children of the devil still. There can be NO unity between the saved and the unsaved. But what is driving this?

I believe that all this rushing to ‘unity’ is a sign that the demolition work spoken of in a prophecy given to me some years ago is under way, and instinctively those who are in the wrong place know it. It is a 'safety in numbers' thing. Anyone else noticed this?
