Ah, Deuteronomy 22:8. I didn't realize you were talking about battlements, I thought you meant just railings. The Section 22(h) of the Freehold Building Code mandates that a solid battlement must circumscribe the roof of every single-family dwelling, and all houses that I'm aware of here have them. Railings aren't sufficiently sturdy, so they are not permissible under the code (Section 22(h)(2)).

I can't speak for what non-Christians do with their houses. The unsaved commit a lot of sins of which I do not approve. A LOT of sins.

I don't remember whether Brother V covered this verse in Bible in a Year, but it's well worth going there to find out. He certainly did a powerful exegesis of Deuteronomy.

I'm a Bible believing born again Christian myself, and i don't know why i got this label. "Under Investigation" is understandable, but outright calling someone who's new here "Unsaved Trash" is entirely another. it's understandable for those who are indeed unsaved, but those who are born again by the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, it's just offensive.

since we're on the topic of books, why don't you try reading the Bible?

I'm going to try the bible in a year thing cuz breaking it down in to small chunks will be easier to digest because its almost like it has to be translated as you go. It was written a long time ago and our lives are different now, and you should leave room to try to apply it to how it could be saying we're supposed to live today. Because face it, we don't live in tents in the dessert any more and I think shellfish has been deemed okay, right....or why not? Are Christians against lobster? Maybe I'm mixing that up. Chris Rock has written a book, and he punctuates extremely well for a negro. You might want to try doing at least minimal research rather than making yourself look like an ass by pretending to know things that you don't. LOL.

What I mean is, when writers write written stuff like books they have people called Editors who type and correct their words like movies and tv shows have editors who paste all the good bits together and add effects

I don't understand why evolution scares Christians so much.

Evolution doesn't scare us any more than any other false theory. It's you evolutionists, in fact, who're scared. The whole point of science is the examination of alternative hypotheses in the light of evidence, yet you absolutely refuse to let anyone even mention creation in a science class, much less debate the evidence with us. That's because you know that your precious theory of evolution can't stand up to scrutiny.

It didn't take us 200 years to agree that the Earth is round. We never agreed that the Earth is round. The Earth isn't round, it's flat. The Bible tells us so.

I find it hard to comprehend why god is so powerful yet he cannot make up his own mind, such a "Human" feature.

God created us in His own image. He has thoughts, just like us.
