    battlement = railing

    Where are they?
Ah, Deuteronomy 22:8. I didn't realize you were talking about battlements, I thought you meant just railings. The Section 22(h) of the Freehold Building Code mandates that a solid battlement must circumscribe the roof of every single-family dwelling, and all houses that I'm aware of here have them. Railings aren't sufficiently sturdy, so they are not permissible under the code (Section 22(h)(2)).

I can't speak for what non-Christians do with their houses. The unsaved commit a lot of sins of which I do not approve. A LOT of sins.

I don't remember whether Brother V covered this verse in Bible in a Year, but it's well worth going there to find out. He certainly did a powerful exegesis of Deuteronomy.

So what's the answer to this? Is it covered in the Bible in a year business?

Excellent. There's hope for you yet.

Because face it, we don't live in tents in the dessert any more
No problem Biblically if you live in something more substantial.

and I think shellfish has been deemed okay, right....or why not? Are Christians against lobster?
Christians can eat lobster. There are no more dietary restrictions, Jesus removed those.

I see Christian women wearing pearls and "costly" aray and it doesn't look like that's such a booboo now...
    It's still a boo-boo.

and doesn't it talk about a railing around roofs? Where did those go?
I'm not aware of the Bible either requiring or prohibiting roof railings.

I'm a Bible believing born again Christian myself, and i don't know why i got this label. "Under Investigation" is understandable, but outright calling someone who's new here "Unsaved Trash" is entirely another. it's understandable for those who are indeed unsaved, but those who are born again by the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, it's just offensive.

I'm going to try the bible in a year thing cuz breaking it down in to small chunks will be easier to digest because its almost like it has to be translated as you go. It was written a long time ago and our lives are different now, and you should leave room to try to apply it to how it could be saying we're supposed to live today. Because face it, we don't live in tents in the dessert any more and I think shellfish has been deemed okay, right....or why not? Are Christians against lobster? Maybe I'm mixing that up. And I see Christian women wearing pearls and "costly" aray and it doesn't look like that's such a booboo now...and doesn't it talk about a railing around roofs? Where did those go?

You're the one who mentioned Chris Rock's books or lack thereof, not me. If you don't think they're relevant, why did you bring the subject up?

Now, since we're on the topic of books, why don't you try reading the Bible?

What I mean is, when writers write written stuff like books they have people called Editors who type and correct their words like movies and tv shows have editors who paste all the good bits together and add effects

If I read Chris Rocks letters I could say about his writing and punctuation but all books are mostly done by the people who sell them the publishing "team" house

I know what it stands for. The question is, why were you laughing out loud? You didn't say anything funny. Only mental defectives write LOL just because they expressed a personal opinion.

How'd you know what their punctualions like if they havn't written book LOL do they write letters to you?
Listen to them when they speak. They stop at the end of each sentence. You, on the other hand, just add the word "and" and keep jabbering away. BTW, Chris Rock has written a book, and he punctuates extremely well for a negro. You might want to try doing at least minimal research rather than making yourself look like an ass by pretending to know things that you don't. LOL.

Evolution doesn't scare us any more than any other false theory. It's you evolutionists, in fact, who're scared. The whole point of science is the examination of alternative hypotheses in the light of evidence, yet you absolutely refuse to let anyone even mention creation in a science class, much less debate the evidence with us. That's because you know that your precious theory of evolution can't stand up to scrutiny.

It didn't take us 200 years to agree that the Earth is round. We never agreed that the Earth is round. The Earth isn't round, it's flat. The Bible tells us so.

I find it hard to comprehend why god is so powerful yet he cannot make up his own mind, such a "Human" feature.
God created us in His own image. He has thoughts, just like us.

The bible show that god seems apparently human, god even communicates to other humans, so what does GOD actually think then?
You can only refer to a book for answers.
It's more than just a book. I talk to God every day.

LOL? Why do you say LOL? Was that a joke? Did you make a funny? Are you a comedian, like Robin Williams or Chris Rock? Because those guys, unlike you, know how to use punctuation. LOL

There is no such thing as an "atheist". Everyone knows in the reality of God as He is written on all of our hearts. "Atheism" is nothing more than people who want to sin turning their backs on the Lord.

Without prejudice to any opinion that may emanate from Pastor Zeke, it says merely that “God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.”

For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness, and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus. (Romans 2:14-16)
