I don't think Christ minds some barbeque. He's roasting billions of sinners in hell every day, and definitely enjoying that!

I am a Christian (and carnivore) myself; and have been for many years and I'm shocked and a little bit disturbed by what I have found on this forum but I have to say, this is one of the most ridiculous and inflammatory pieces of writing I have ever read. Jesus pronounced in the sermon on the Mount (at least in Mark's Gospel) that; 'Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy' and for any argument on a Christian forum to open with a presentation of a widely incorrect stereotype of vegetarian before claiming that you'd want to 'bludgeon them within an inch of their lives' hardly seems merciful to me. After reading your ridiculous equation that those who do not eat meat have sex with animals, it is no surprise that this forum rejects 'facts'- there's not a drop of truth within this; do you have any proof beyond a poorly-written equation that carnivores don't have sex with animals?! Bestiality is caused by a deep perversion caused deep within the brain and both carnivores and vegetarians could suffer from it. Your main argument is just inane scaremongering.

I'm aware that by attempting to argue against that point, I'll probably get branded as a pervert in the most childish way possible by one of you. I'd also like to point out that you put 'left-wing' and 'Nazi sympathizer' next to each other, which is a complete contradiction.

Next, onto your terrible argument that vegetarians are pro-abortion, I know vegetarians who believe that no life should be sacrificed, hence why they're anti-abortion AND vegetarian. Has it not occurred to you that some vegetarians may just believe that's the correct way? I don't get the appeal of living life without meat personally, but if someone has decided to take that path, why is that such a massive problem and cause for alarm? Your blinkered world view has caused you to fear anyone and disdain anyone who does not share the exact same views as you.

Another point to make would be that some are vegetarian due to concern for the planet; in that it takes far less land to farm crops than to raise animals for slaughter. Surely if God created the earth, he'd want us to preserve it in whatever way we could? So by being vegetarian, they are carrying out a different will of God.

As far as I can tell, many 'Christians' of your ilk use the Bible as an excuse to push your extremist views onto those around you. You chose your own interpenetration of the Bible and twist what is written so that it will fit in nicely with your bigoted views, allowing you to freely spout about how we should 'invade and exterminate' African countries and be openly homophobic and be aggressive towards those who you considered 'unsaved'. I doubt the same God who proclaimed 'love thy neighbour' would be overjoyed to see you aim to 'oppress, ridicule and shame' (so much for 'blessed are the peacemakers') those who, lest we forget, are 'made in his image'. I find it terribly worrying that those who follow the same book as I would use the great scripture as a front for their intolerant views. As for a return to 'traditional American values', would it fill you with you to see slavery and witch-trials brought back into modern society?

If I am completely incorrect with my view that a Christian should encourage those to follow Jesus through peaceful means, promote love of his fellow man and turn the other cheek, and am in fact damned to hell, well, hell would seem tame compared to an eternity spent in heaven with a group of intolerant bigots such as yourselves. I pray for you all.

    Have a wonderful day!

Blasphemer! God wants us to be carnivores! That's why He made animals out of delicious meat!

God gave us animals to eat. The Bible also warns us that eating herbs will make us weak.

Romans 14:2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

So you never eat anything made with barley, maze, oats, rye, sorghum or wheat, to name a few of forms of grass? I think even in your collection of Fairy Tales you will find references to eating such grasses such as....

    Exodus 29:2
And unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of wheaten flour shalt thou make them.

Also here is a nice lemongrass pasta recipe for you
    Ingredients:

    1 lb pasta
1/4 cup slivered or sliced almonds
    1 cup shelled green peas
    3 Tbsp finely minced lemongrass
1/2 cup mild-flavored oil, such as canola (a strong olive oil would overwhelm here)
2 tsp finely ground Grains of Paradise (you can substitute fresh ground black pepper, but reduce the amount to 1/2 a tsp in that case.)
    1/4 - 1/2 tsp sea salt
    2 Tbsp richly-flavored olive oil
1 medium garlic clove, peeled and crushed
24 very thin asparagus spears (bottom ends trimmed)
    Sea salt

    PREPARATION:

Cook the pasta in salted water according to package directions. While the pasta is cooking, toast the almonds lightly in a dry pan over medium heat; allow to cool briefly. Place the almonds in a food processor bowl and pulse until finely ground.

Add the peas, lemongrass, mild-flavored oil, and grains of paradise to the ground almonds; pulse until nearly smooth. Stir in 1/4 tsp of salt and taste; add more salt if necessary. Set the sauce aside.

(Note: you may need to add a bit more oil; you want an almost pesto-like consistency.)

In a saute pan, heat the olive oil and the crushed garlic clove together over medium high heat until the garlic starts to color. Remove and discard garlic clove. Add the asparagus and cook just until the spears are lightly browned. Toss with a pinch of sea salt and remove from heat.

To Serve: Dress the pasta with the green pea sauce and divide among six plates or shallow pasta bowls. Decorate each dish with 4 spears of asparagus. Dust with a bit more finely ground grains of paradise and/or a little freshly grated Parmagiano cheese, if desired.
Note the use of freshly grated cheese "For thy pre-grated can form is but a smelly abomination."

Firstly form Advice on Cooking, Eating & Enjoying Tasty Pasta
6 He who eats pasta shall never be hungry.
7 There is never a right way to overcook pasta.
8 As long as we eat our pasta and do not overcook it, we shall be saved.
Sounds like you have been given overcooked Pasta which is an abomination.

Now when we eat Pasta we are not eating the body of Our Lord, we are not Cat-o-licks, when we eat Pasta we are eating a meal in honour of Our Lord
