Yeah, I was beguiled by the fancy table with the attractive colors and bold boxes formatting the Word (Protestant version only, of course) and just wanted to post it here.

It occurs to me, in most public venues, the choice will most likely be between the Protestant and Catholic forms. The Jooish outrage being mostly confined to their infernal temples, will not contaminate public discourse.

That the Catlix have desecrated His Holy Words should come as no surprise, but still, I admit to considerable shock at their boldness in perverting even the Commandments.

That's a lot easier to read. Wasn't that difficult, was it?

So sorry to have had such difficulties in getting this together. I do not wish to take away from the seriousness of this problem.

    Abbreviated Protestant Ten Commandments:
    1. You shall have no other gods but me.
    2. You shall not make unto you any graven images
    3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain
    4. You shall remember the Sabbath and keep it holy
    5. Honor your mother and father
    6. You shall not murder
    7. You shall not commit adultery
    8. You shall not steal
    9. You shall not bear false witness
    10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor

Note: since I am concerned about public displays of the 10 Commandments portraying the correct version, and the public displays in deference to the stone cutters craft invariably use condensed forms of them, I must apologize for not using the full glorious text of the King James 1611 form.

    Abbreviated Catholic Ten Commandments:
    1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
    2. You shall not take the name of the Lord God in vain
    3. Remember to keep holy the Lord's Day
    4. Honor your father and your mother
    5. You shall not kill
    6. You shall not commit adultery
    7. You shall not steal
    8. You shall not bear false witness
    9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife
    10. You shall not covet your neighbor's goods

The salient concern here is the Catlick version OMITS a Commandment and bifurcates the Coveting one !!

Public displays of the Catholic version are an Abomination !!

We must endeavor in the public arena to insure the correct form is used, and existing blasphemous displays will need to be corrected !!

May I suggest you create your list as you wish it, take a screen shot and, having cropped it, post that here?

Edit: do try to make it a reasonable size - not something that could cover the side of a house.

Sometimes you have to reformat the text for your readers. Don't be stingy! Use the advanced edit button and fix everything before you post.

This is really odd. I can see the table in the edit box and it is just the way it should be, but posting it deletes all the formatting and runs the text together. I really like this list as it uses a short form that is necessitated by the stone cutters craftsmanship in producing the public displays.

If someone here knows how to get this list displayed properly, it would sure be a blessing !

    Thank you!

    Re: 10 Commandments caution

Per the excellent suggestion of Pastor Ezekiel, here is a table I found highlighting the blasphemous distortions of His Holy Commandments:

    Most common Protestant listing:
Thou shalt have no other gods before me
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy
Honour thy father and thy mother
    Thou shalt not kill
    Thou shalt not commit adultery
    Thou shalt not steal
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour
    Thou shalt not covet
    Latin Catholic listing:
Thou shalt not have other gods besides Me
Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vain
Remember to keep holy the Lord’s day
Honor thy father and thy mother
    Thou shalt not murder
    Thou shalt not commit adultery
    Thou shalt not steal
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods

(This is not the list I wanted here, but this one does parse out correctly in the post. I will go find the Jooish outrage now)

started a topic 10 Commandments caution

    10 Commandments caution

    Brethren,

When you are out seeing to increasing the public display of the 10 Commandments, please take care that the version you are working with is the correct and Godly approved KJV1611 list and not the devilishly distorted Catlick or Joo version.

We must be vigilant to ensure the CORRECT list is displayed, especially in public, as some folks that may be their only exposure to His Holy Law.

If you do find public displays of the INCORRECT version of the 10 Commandments, please redouble your efforts to ensure the CORRECT version is used to replace the Popey version or the Evil Joo version.

    Yours in Christ !!
