That's not flaming, friend, that's True Christian love. We love you, OK? We want you to be Saved just as we are. The invisible hand of The Lord has guided you to this site for a reason. Try to feel His message and give it some time but you will realize that Landover Baptist is THE church for you.

    I'm sure

However, as I have been well reminded, this is not a debate forum, so a list of 50 arguments would just get me the almighty banhammer.
    How convenient.

Are there any of the reasons to convert which are unreasonable though?

However, as I have been well reminded, this is not a debate forum, so a list of 50 arguments would just get me the almighty banhammer. If anyone wants me to send them it by a personal message for interests sake, feel free to ask. Otherwise, I will simply say some of the arguments are doubtful at best.

However, attacking his favourite people will not get you anywhere. People like you know that you have no way of directly attacking God, so you attack his people instead. That's such a sad life, don't you think?
I started by thanking someone for his support. I then get flamed from all sides for taking the message nicely. I then tried to defend my actions in thanking Nobar King for his support.

I don't think you people quite understand what a blessing it to have such strong faith.

Back on topic, this video sums up a few good things that could convert an atheist. You may wish to skip the first 1:25, as it has a general rant at religion, which is not relevant. If you listen to the first 1:25 and find it offensive, I have warned you. Again, this is an atheists view in the video, but I still feel the points he makes are fairly accurate on a "definitely convert the masses" point.

Again, the video takes a few small cheap shots at religion. If you find that offensive, do not watch.

Yes, I did read that. nothing wrong in holding your standards high. However, I rarely see the teaching which do not involve people going to hell being spoken about. It was just a nice change to have the kindness and openness Christians supposedly have. That said, not being strict would be very hypocritical. It's just the phrasing was very nice and welcoming.

Lets take example responses to me saying I'm unsure on my faith.

1)You're going to hell because of X verse.
2)Jesus will welcome you always because of Y, but do not waiver for too long because of X.

Both cover the same content, but one is more likely to have an impact on somebody's life. Threats of hell would hold value if it wasn't said instantly for pretty much everything.

    Why are you so harsh?

Because the truth is harsh. We use great plainness of speech, and will not beat around the bush when it comes to someone's eternal soul. Watch out for those people who tell you that it's okay to believe what you want - they'll take you to hell with them.

It has been said "honey draws more flies than does vinegar." This really isn't a Biblical concept. The Bible teaches the exact opposite. For example, Jude says "Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference, And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." Furthermore, you should carefully examine all of the preachers (including Jesus) in the Bible. On some, they had compassion. On others, they preached fear. It is our duty to make a difference.

Of course, as are your believes, they are actualities, so much be said. However, when the focus of every point that disagrees with your beliefs is "do it or you will go to hell and God will hate you", it doesn't seem like a faith that is rewarding to be a part of.

And having been agnostic for a fair while (now I've got interested in the matter again and am reconsidering), life has plenty of meaning without a deity. You make the meaning in your life. I see no purpose for myself, so simply strive to make others happy and to enjoy life, and that makes me happy.
Typical wishy-washy agnostic. That's sounds very nice and all, but the Bible says you are going to hell for your lack of belief.

    Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
