Pointing out the fact that you've claimed that the teacher lectured several days on the subject of "some guy born late who turned out bad" and not one of your classmates took a single note on the subject, even his name, is "picking on you"?

I guess you'd better find money for summer school, since apparently everyone in your class hates you and wants you to fail your midterm. Why do you suppose they won't tell you who they're talking about?
