Do you even own a Bible? You obviously need to start reading one. The war we fight with Iran will not be Armageddon (at least, not the first war). Armageddon happens after the Tribulation. The war with Iran is one of the "wars and rumors of wars" that are signs of the end of days. See Matthew 24:6. You have heard the rumors, haven't you?

So what are the other signs?

Christ-killing Jews regain Jerusalem (Luke 21:24). Slam dunk, Six Day War, 1967.

Godlessness in the last days (2 Timothy 3:1-7). You don't need to look any farther for that than in your own posts in this forum.

Famines (Matthew 24:7, Luke 21:11). Plenty of those to go around, especially among the nigra nations.

Pestilences (Matthew 24:7, Luke 21:11). My guess here is avian flu, but it could be the smallpox that Saddam Hussein's lieutennants are hiding.

Earthquakes (Matthew 24:7, Luke 21:11). We had what, a 12.0 Richter quake that caused the tsunami (OK, the real cause of the tsunami was God's wrath at the homos and heathens, but the earthquake was his means of delivering justice).

False Messiahs (Matthew 24:5 and 11, Luke 11:8). Obviously, this refers to the Chabbavitcher Rebbe, the head of all of the Jews (at least until he died). The Jews all believe that he is the Messiah. They weren't content just to kill the real Messiah that God sent to them, they think they have to mock Jesus, too.

Preaching of the gospel in all the world (Matthew 24:19). What else could this mean than Landover Baptist's outreach ministries?

And THEN the Rapture happens. The return of Christ. the Tribulation, Armageddon, the Second Coming, the Millenium, the Final Judgment, and the New Heaven and Earth then follow.

Personally, I think we've got another quarter century or so before the Rapture happens, but I wouldn't want to bet my eternal life on that. And I'd love nothing more for it to happen tomorrow.

If we launch nukes against Iran, we can expect them to launch a barrage of missiles, including nukes if they have them, into Israel, as retaliation. We wouldn't get that kind of response from attacking China or Russia directly.

Besides, attacking Iran is going after China and Russia. They want Iran's oil just as bad as we do. Russia has already told us that they will consider it an act of war against them if we attack Iran.
