so what do you call men who have 'gentlemen of the bedchamber' they call their wife in letters?
and since you brought up 1 quote saying King James WASNT gay maybe the world should know about these too that say he WAS gay and they can make up minds for themself. References

Re: Att. ATHEISTS: What is the Purpose of your SAD,Sorry lives?
What is the purpose of my life?
I strive to do good. To solve the various problems that arise in everyday life without hurting others. I do not steal, rape, or murder. I commit no crimes. Everything you believe about me was born from ignorance. Do you people even know me? You would be quite surprised to find that I am a kind person. If you think my life is worthless, you are most certainly wrong. I am literate, educated, and intelligent. Before you immediately assume that I am some sort of rapist or murderer, you should get to know me.
That, my friends, is the purpose of my life. Please note that I didn't respond to your query with such words as "pervert", "heathen", or any of the insults you apply to me and my kinsmen on a daily basis. Unlike the behavior "True Christians" commonly display on this forum, I am perfectly capable of being mature. I would also like to note that you will likely answer this speech with words of the nastiest kind. This will only prove the point that we are mature and you, grown men, are not.
Such a man was sure to have enemies. One such man, Anthony Weldon, had to be excluded from the court. Weldon swore vengeance. It was not until 1650, twenty-five years after the death of James that Weldon saw his chance. He wrote a paper calling James a homosexual. Obviously, James, being dead, was in no condition to defend himself.
The report was largely ignored since there were still enough people alive who knew it wasn't true. In fact, it lay dormant for years, until recently when it was picked up by Christians who hoped that vilifying King James, would tarnish the Bible that bears his name so that Christians would turn away from God's book to a more "modern" translation.
It seems though, that Weldon's false account is being once again largely ignored by the majority of Christianity with the exception of those with an ulterior motive, such as its author had.
It might also be mentioned here that the Roman Catholic Church was so desperate to keep the true Bible out of the hands of the English people that it attempted to kill King James and all of Parliament in 1605.
Getting back on track, now that Napa Valley Man has attempted to distract us from the discussion . . .
hows it derailing to bring up King James version of the Bible? Its practically all you talked about here and no matter what anyone else says, a King James quote gets thrown at them so how is it derailing it's not
But YES King James was gay. The lovers in the pictures were Esme Stewart, Robert Carr and George Villiers look it up they were real
They were real people and let me say if my husband started having all these Gentlemen of the Bedchamber and bought them houses Id be pretty suspicious
letter from king to George: "I desire only to live in this world for your sake... I had rather live banished in any part of the Earth with you than live a sorrowful widow's life without you... God bless you, my sweet child and wife, and grant that ye may ever be a comfort to your dear dad and husband."
I do not understand the point of this thread well to an extent i do if you see an atheist is it not your job as a Christian to try to convert them? don't you feel some need to but if they refuse you should just let them go on about there lives who are we to judge them? there just regular people who live regular lives just like us but they don't believe in God. So instead of insulting them you should show them the correct path.
Interesting. I have been pondering this for some time now. I have realized that all people believe in God, eventually.
Those that do while alive on Earth, live a joyous and care free existence knowing they only have to follow the Bible and can do no wrong. They become rewarded with an eternity in blissful heaven.
Those that pish-posh God here on Earth, may think they are having a terrific existence. That is, until they die and go to Hell. It is at this point that they to, become believers in Jesus Christ. A day late and a dollar short. haha:
And yes, I am continually spreading His Word(r) around and converting people every chance I get, by force if need be.

There seems to be a linguistic oddity around these parts being
God's love
n.
1.The wish by a divine being to see you burn and suffer forever, because he loves you
which does not fit the normally accepted definition of 'love'
p.s. if hell is tough love, what does anyone there gain except pain? Is there parole? Do they learn eternal life lessons? Do they get a sentence reduction for repentance?
Hell isn't "tough love". Who told you that?
God will not cast anyone He loves into His Lake of Fire. Only those He hates.
Whom does God hate? Anyone who refuses His Love.
How does one refuse God's Love?
By not believing that He came to earth as Jesus 2,000 years ago that He might sacrifice Himself to Himself, thus putting an end to the unwieldy animal sacrifice system.
By failing to repent -- that is, beg His forgiveness for ALL your sins, then stop sinning forever.
God doesn't want to torture anyone in Hell, except the people He creates for that purpose. People like you choose damnation when offered salvation, and He has no choice but to bodily resurrect you for Judgment, and cast you, screaming and terrified, into His Lake of Fire so He may burn you alive forever and ever.
It's punishment, not rehabilitation. No end, no escape.
The good King James has been with Jesus for hundreds of years, and you wait until now to accuse him of Homersexuality. How do you know that these inflammatory letters are not a plant by atheists?
Well that makes me think the good King Jesus as you call him has been dead even longer and is not here to defend himself. How do you know the inflammatory letters as so called that make up his Bible are not a plant by religous leaders?
I cant get over how the fundimentalist christians keep pointing people to King James when he was GAY
In your book thats the worst thing ever, but every day they run to a book written by a gay guy to get evidence
Do you know King James had all these Gentlemen of the Bedchamber he was in love with an gave houses and titles to, and wrote love letters to where he called them husband and wife.
These were the three biggies
1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
Nice judge a man who is not here to defend himself. The good King James has been with Jesus for hundreds of years, and you wait until now to accuse him of Homersexuality. How do you know that these inflammatory letters are not a plant by atheists?
What makes you think that God didn't wrote the Bible? Go and read King James Bible and see!
