Only a silly newbie Wiccan would say such a stupid thing. Of course the new Wicann convert-fluffy-bunnies aren't going to be told that they're worshiping Satan and the Whore of Babylon. They just call the Whore of Babylon "the goddess" and Satan "the horned god" and leave it at that until you get to the high secret levels of Wicca when you're finally told the truth. And by then, it's too late.

Actually, it was early Christians who re-vamped the Pagan Horned God into a depiction of Satan.

And the Bible referred to Babylon as the whore - not a specific Babylonian woman or goddess.
