Hitler was Catholic, the Catholic Center party's devout support was one of the biggest most significant reason that the Nazis got into power, how can you say the Catholics are not guilty of genocide?
The New World voyages were both cause and consequence of the worsening relations between England and Spain.
The colonisation of the new world was political not religious, Elizabeth I colonised as much as Phillip II of Spain. It is unfortunate that it was the nature of colonization to impose the conquorers culture on others. This can most notably be observed in the British empire, a protestant country, where the Baptists emerged during the Interregnum. Therefore Baptists helped colonize the U.S. Also the USA seems to be attempting to obliterate the cultures of the middle east, through its so called war on terror, and what is the U.S.A... a Protestant country.
And that makes the genocide of the indigenous people of Latin America all nice and dandy? And the English were Anglicans, that are as bad or worse than the Catlicks, why, they even let homersexurals become priests!

Ok, you and I must have different definitions of genocide, genocide is the mass extermination of a particular race.
So the Chibchas, Arawaks, Taínos, Caribs, Nahuatl, Pijaos, Quimbayas, Tayronas, (I can go on...) don't qualify to you as "particular races"? How racist of you...
His holiness suggested no such thing.
No, they finished the job like 300 years ago...
His main theme in fact appeared to be the contrary, revitilizing the latin american cultures and faith.
Latin American Catholic cultures and faith, the others are already crushed, erased or considered pagan and unholy.
I would love to hear what some of these countless cultures are that have been "destroyed."
You really want a list of every single indigenous group that lived in the Americas before 1492?
I can't think of any instance in which people went to war in the name of the blessed mother, she has always been associated with peace. Look at her message at Fatima.
If you fight for the church, you're fighting in her name, and you didn't say anything about the Crusades, either...

Righto you keep telling yourself that, let me guess what these perverse things are. The Inquisition? *Gasp* they tortured and executed people, just maybe that has something to do with the time period, you don't see the inquisition running around burning people today do you? Baptist/protestant history isn't exactly squeeky clean either, Saleem witch trials anyone? I hear it was one hell of a bonfire!
No, I meant for example the Colonisation of the Americas, and the Crusades, and the countless cultures destroyed to impose the catholic point of view, I ask you, how many people have been killed in the name or using your "blessed mother" as an excuse? You can read your dear pope saying genocide purifies here.

The Holy Bible does not say "It's OK to kill baptists", but it does say that whe shall not suffer a witch to live. So they were only doing what God told them to do. Just like we do on our Halloween witch hunts

Not all Baptist denominations follow the Word thoroughly, you won't find any of that here in Landover, God's favourite Church®/Forum/Creation Science Research Facility/Tithing Place... The only paedophiles you'll see hanging around this place answer to the name of "fath*r" Martin and f. Lester, and they belong to your "blessed" church, and I when I said your church is full of perverts, I wasn't referring solely to the boys-molesting scandal, I was talking about the last 1500 years of human history...
Orcinus wonders why this hasn't gotten the same attention that the Catholic Church's scandal has:
And so here it is -- in the form of hundreds of young women and men coming forward to tell their stories to judges and juries, exposing a decades-long pattern of unchecked predatory behavior on the part of their Baptist pastors. This parade, too, has gone on nearly non-stop and just as fast for nearly a year now -- so where are the reporters, the cameras, the headlines?
A few national papers have picked up on this, as has ABC's 20/20 (which did a report in April). Among bloggers, the perspicacious Pam Spaulding has been on the case. But mostly, the coverage has been confined to the local papers -- each one treating its own hometown pastor scandal as an isolated incident, without putting it in the context of a larger national trend. As long as the dots aren't being connected, this isn't getting anything like the 24/7/365 coverage that the Catholic scandal did.
We have to wonder: why did the Catholic Church get the full media treatment -- but all we hear about this still-exploding scandal is the sound of crickets chirping?
Having been accused of Catholic-bashing before, I feel compelled to point out similar failings in Protestant denominations. And if I hear about a juicy Unitarian Universalist sex scandal, I promise I'll post about it here.
Hmmm it appears the cancer of paedophilia is present in all churches, *gasp* even the one true Baptist church! Buggering Baptists... maybe you can now get down off your pedestal.
Um Ok, this whole priests are buggers is kind of old, yes there are some unfortunatly but perverts are everywhere, not just in the church, its a sad fact of life and the church isdoing all it can to fix.
The roman "church" is full of perverts, always has been, always will be, altar boy molesting is just one of their new pastimes, but they are responsible for the deaths of millions, in the sweet name of your beloved "mother" in Heaven, they've raped, destroyed, pillaged and burn countless towns, cultures and people... And doing all they can? give me a break, delivering them to justice would be a nice step forward from your beloved priests...
Most priests are devout men who have sacrificed their lives for God. It's a stupid ignorant stereotype to say they are all perverts, it's like me trying to claim that all americans are morbidly obese.
Americans' obesity is none of your business, if they are fat, they are fat with God's love, Glory! Now tell me what part of the Bible says that the church officials are not supposed to marry, sister?
By the way if you knew anything about Catholicism or the holy language you would realise my name translates, "Mother, totally yours." Alluding to the devoution of Totus Tuus sum, Maria. Also I'm female, the word brother doesn't really apply....
I didn't check your profile, but you know, with catlicks is hard to tell apart, the priests wearing women's clothes and stuff... And from when did Latin become "sacred language"??? I thought the romans had changed their dogmas about it in the second Vatican council, but hey, John XXIII could not expect to fix in a single lifetime the doings of centuries of pervert popes, and I think actually the Church broke away from Scripture after him even more... You know what? abyssus abyssum invocat... You should read the real Word® of the Living God, the KJV Bible, as He intented it to be, in Godly American English...

Praise be to God, Dr. Solo! If more Catholics would repent and donate to Landover, they could be sure that there is less money going into a defense fund to keep pedophile priests out of jail.
