Again Christians are persecuted in Finland. Father and stepmother of 8-year old girl are charged with murder after girl dies during disciplining.
What the news does not say is that in court stepmother told that girl was reckless, didn't respect parents and stole a ring. What could parents do other than teach respect?

Of course the parents should be reprimanded not using the Biblically correct rod method. But murder charges? In free country people should be able to what ever they like with their own property!

8-year old girl's murder trial begins
The prosecution is seeking life sentences for a father and stepmother suspected of killing their daughter last Mother's Day.
Charges read at Helsinki District Court on Tuesday will include murder, deprivation of liberty and assault.
The prosecutor will argue that the couple slowly suffocated the girl and that the crime was premeditated and exceptionally cruel.
The defendants deny the charges, but have admitted to the events leading up to the young girl's death.
Child welfare officials are also being investigated for their actions in the case. The child had previously been taken into care, but was returned to her father's custody a few months before her death.
