@Phebe Carlyle my uncles (and aunts) sometimes gave me socks which were always one of my favourite gifts! I don't ever recall them ever wanting to "see what they liiked like on" though. Maybe occasionally if my feet were growing they might want to check they were the right size and feel if my toes weren't squashed all together or something.

I think you misunderstand Master Minecraft. Rev. Jim is like an uncle to Felicity hence him giving her gifts such as that are not untoward. I know that my ex husband and I used to give my nieces and nephews undergarments as nothing more than simple gestures of good will. Not once however did we expect them to parade around in them so that we could see how they look, nor did it ever cross our minds to request such a display. I certainly hope that you don't have uncles or aunts to make such requests if they gift you personal attire as that is nothing short of creepy.
