I havent been through it because I put a full serving of the Lord and his Word on my "plate" daily. It kept me from sin and helped me to avoid the situations of today's troublesome teens you mentioned.

and that is great! it's just, in some homes God is not being taught, and they come to school and share unGodly things with others. and it spreads, like a sickness.
and you can't excpet a teenager or a child to live full-on with God just as soon as they are born. it is impossible. because they are going to make mistakes. wether they want to admit to it or not, they will.

As I said to Snot, to stereotype something is to take the actions of the vast majority of a specific subculture (based on surveys and statistics), and use this as basis to judge the entire subculture. I'm sure there are one or two emos who don't act like suicidal devil-worshipping depressed freaks, but the rest of them do. I also noticed you mentioning that you used to self-harm and cut yourself up like some sort of weirdo loser. This says enough. We merely state FACTS here, son. Frankly, I don't understand this kids, when I was their age I didn't have the urge to cut or "off" myself, I was just trying to have a great time without being down all the time. It's yet another teen-hype that will probably die out when another new fashionable thing comes around.
