In Washington, Destruct of Corruption, the fag-enablers and uppity Negroes on the city council obviously have no use for the concept of law and order. They want to whittle away at one of the most important tools that law enforcement has, namely, civil asset forfeiture. Of course, they know they could never get away with something so unspeakably radical as abolishing it altogether or, God forbid, requiring a criminal conviction before property is declared forfeit. Instead, the rule of law in D.C. will suffer death by a thousand paper cuts.

D.C. Council votes to overhaul asset forfeiture, give property owners new rights
The D.C. Council on Tuesday agreed to overhaul the city’s civil asset forfeiture program with a bill that would give property owners new rights and eventually require that seizure proceeds go into the city’s general fund rather than to the police department.
The council’s unanimous vote caps more than a year of debate over the department’s use of laws that allowed police officers to take millions of dollars in cash, cars and other property without charging the owners with crimes.
