That's the Duke of Kent. As he is only 37th in line to the throne (give or take), it was a great honor for him to be allowed to escort Kellyanne to dinner.

Here is a helpful list of those medals. You will find some interesting ones there, not least the George VI Coronation Medal which he earned in May 1937 at the tender age of 19 months and one that is something to do with Japanese boy scouts, which is probably not talked about in the family.

Many of the British Royals have fought their own private Vietnams, much like our President. As long as he didn't get captured or ever lose any battle ever, he's good enough.

Oh, yes, dear Sister Joanna, and thank the good that we are, in fact, getting regular updates from our God-sent President! Now, another thing that has thrilled me about the President's visit to the Queen is that even his Assistant, that lovely Kellyanne Conway, was invited to the dinner at Buckingham Palace. Wasn't that a nice gesture of the Queen to specifically ask that she attend the dinner? Here is the photo, although why on Earth they didn't find her a better-looking date than that old fool she's with is beyond me. And why is he wearing so many medals? Is he an actual veteran of war? No? Well, well, well, what a surprise.

A blessed day to you, dear Sister Joanna.
    Sincerely, Isabella W.

Do you know if he plans to meet with his long lost British cousin?

Thinks are looking up for your dreary little island. That old hag you people put in charge (Theresa May, I mean, not Aufseherin Elizabeth of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha) did what all women do when asked to do men's work (1 Timothy 2:12) - she bungled it and cried like a toddler. Now she can go back to the kitchen where she belongs and Boris Johnson can tell the European Caliphate exactly where they can stick their immigrants and Donald can give him some pointers on how to do exactly that.

However, I've heard that the high yellow duchess Meghan Monkey, the so-called "African-American-Englishwoman," has snubbed him, which is unacceptable. If there are any outrages like last time, there will likely be consequences.

Brother Jeb, will the tariffs put up the prices in Chinese restaurants, or have they been told to absorb the extra costs? The latter, I hope.

Pastor Ezekiel must be steering him onto the best course. I've heard that Trump spends most of his working day reading Tweets and news articles about himself. He must've added some LBC time onto his very busy schedule.

I don't know much about national and international politics, but there's a part of the building code that God gave us that would, if we enforced it, save untold guilt resulting from lives lost in needless falls from roofs:

When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence. Deuteronomy 22:8

All of the houses in Freehold, Iowa have roof battlements, and there hasn't been a single recorded case of blood being brought upon a house due to death resulting from a roof fall since the city was founded! That's a record unmatched anywhere else in America.

I've always been puzzled why mandatory roof battlements aren't part of the Republican platform. I don't think that we True Christians™ are vocal enough in politics.

    True Christian policy wonkery

This thread is a place to collect our policy proposals.

I want to go beyond the regular zero-sum partisan battles, instead focusing on fresh policy ideas.

Please add them in the replies, and tag their treads with "policy wonkery".

    What I've got so far:

    1. A plan to bring God back into the economy.

    2. A plan that even liberals agree will double the world's wealth production almost overnight, and bring diversity to certain monochrome backwaters of the world.

    3. A plan to save public transit, and make it possible to criss-cross the continent with high-speed rail.

Notice how unlike liberals, who merely re-package their old garbage with new names, we like to innovate. And we have a great track record of being ahead of our time.
