This is a marvelous idea, Sister. The prison industrial complex needs to be more responsive to its customers else we're no better than a Soviet totalitarian regime dishing out the same drab punishments for the same old subversive activities decade after dreary decade, aka socialism. The free market should do better, and would do if we could rein in all the oppressive regulations.

      Re: Republican Platform ideas 2022

There's probably not much point surveying the penitentiary/prison/jail population: they've already lost the plot. Others though, embarrassed by social ambiguity and seeking to fit in with normal people, opt for a nice suit and up-to-date transport options. They make whatever sacrifice is needed to keep the latest models in their garages and/or hangars but, I feel, would prefer more things being illegal to reduce temptations others are blessed to have escaped. Or never had in the first place.

Perhaps the survey could place discreet questionnaires at appropriate dealerships? A tailor or couturier would be other locations to engage in this beneficial research and I'd be happy to volunteer.

News from the top is that rather than waste time with single issue bills, the plan is to ram through an omnibus package that solves everything. Consider everything in this thread DONE. It's happening - whatever you want, when Trump wins we're passing all of it. Don't even bother to spellcheck, get it down asap and let's make America great again.

“We don’t want to make the mistake that we made in the past. Back in the 2017 timeframe and in previous years, we Republicans kind of took a single-subject approach. We did one round of healthcare reform, one round of tax reform. But for [fiscal year 2025], we want to have a much larger scope, multiple issues to address in addition to the expiration of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.”

The ambitious vision has been thrashed out in recent weeks in meetings with up to nine Republican congressional committee chairs, producing a “transformational” legislative wishlist. The plans have been communicated across the entire Republican conference, as Johnson seeks to heal the bitter divisions with the party’s hard right that has seen his own speakership challenged.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Thank you, Doctor. In simple language, guy sports talk, why bunt and steal when you can hit home runs?

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.
