Simply put: so? Yes, our forefathers were largely Deists and Protestants (was it Protestant, or was that another country?), however, they in no way implicated their own personal religious convictions into our constitution in any way that would limit our right to freedom of religious expression.

Yes, a single state. A single rather... odd state (respectively speaking). Not nationalized in the least. Ergo, you still have to answer my question.

I just wonder if our own Godly GOP might have a secret weapon to use against hindooos? If nothing else, a shotgun loaded with double ott and some rock salt ought to work.

    Hogwash.

    Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Congress—the federal government—has no right to declare an established religion. And who gets the rights that Congress doesn't have?

    Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
Why, the states do, of course! I shouldn't have expected a liberal to know what the Bill of Rights says, since if you had your way it'd be replaced by the Koran, the Origin of Species, or some David Sedaris book.

Of course not. Don't try and put words in my mouth, harlot. I am an authority on Jesus. What He wore is of no importance. He's God after all.

I'll clarify - as I recall my childhood Sunday School lessons...

You know exactly zilch about Jesus, so kindly refrain from spreading lies about Him.

Ah yes, one of those si;y archaic laws that may or may not still be on the books, but are most definitely not enforcable.
And anyway, that's a state law, not federal. And federal law trumps state law when they are at odds. And since the First Amendment says that there is no established religion, individual states cannot mandate one.

Pastor Ezekiel, obviously this "Man" is Angry....but why'd he have to go and steal the chandelier? Does he think it compliments his dress, sort of like a Tiara?
