The problem with cripples is that they are trapped in a neverending downward spiral of having the "cripple mentality". With this mindset, they are so wrapped up in their disability that it clouds their better judgment, and they become their disability, leaving behind any trace of normality. The cripple gets so wrapped up in Why Me? mode that their disability consumes them, and then they take that attitude to the polling places.

And you know what happens next, I"m sure. They vote for socialist candidates who think that just because a person is crippled, they deserve a piggyback ride from the taxpayers. Well, enough is enough, I say.

Cripples should be allowed to vote, but not in referenda which do not affect them.

So, for example, if there is a vote on whether a bouncy castle should receive public funding, cripples should not have any say in that.

We have a government by representation and cripples don't represent me. They should not be allowed to vote.

But you don't represent cripples either. Representation is meant to be about each individuals vote representing that individual. If cripples are allowed to vote, their vote is meant to represent cripples, not you. The whole point is that they get their say and you get yours.

Your vote doesn't represent your neighbor, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be allowed to vote - Wouldn't it defeat the aim of a democracy?


I'm not necessarily for or against it, but keep the following in mind:
Where the line is drawn?
You may think it is unfair for the cripple to get an equal say despite being less able to make a well-informed decision or really have any idea about the actual implications of their vote, but you are not as qualified to know what is best when compared to an expert in politics whos IQ far exceeds your own and has had a lot of experience. Why should you et an equal say to someone who is far more aware of the potential effect of his vote?

I know for a fact that some people just vote exactly the same as their parents did just because that is the party their parents voted for, as well as many other people who vote without much thought into who they are actually voting for. I would vote based on policies, so it irritates me that people i know would just waste their vote without any thoughts about it on voting on one party for what seem to me like stupid reasons to vote for that party.

So, we could say it is unfair that stupid people, uneducated people or just easily mislead people should not be allowed to vote, since intelligence seems to be one of the factors at play we shall make a minimum voting I.Q requirement of at least 110, their say matters more than the people with an I.Q below 110, right?
Does that sound democratic to you?
It shouldn't.

Once again, i am neutral on the subject but think that the above is not being considered enough.

Animals. Of course, I don't mean any common beast, but surely the higher end creatures such as primates, dolphins, elephants, chepalopods, corvidaes, squirrels, dogs, cats, pigs, whales, sheep, parrots, monkeys, rats, and spiders deserve the same rights as we do.

The problem with cripples is that if they were to vote, they would want tax-dollars to be spent on themselves. We do not see hard-working Wall Street bankers crying out for tax-dollars for themselves and they have a far finer idea of how finance works, whereas cripples, at the bottom of the pile, have little or none.

It's common sense. (May I take this opportunity to ask everyone reading this to vote Republican?)
