I'm pretty sure all the white supremacists were going to vote for Romney no matter what . . . but a liberal feminazi over at RawStory has laid out a conspiracy theory suggesting that Romney went to speak to the NAACP specifically so he could get the white supremacist/Negro-hater vote:
Sadly, the liberal feminazi writer seems to think that exposing this painfully transparent tactic on Romney's part will somehow damage his chances.
After all, we ARE the real victims.
That the narrative Romney is trying to establish is, “Gosh, I tried to reach out to Those People and talk some sense into them, but they’re just too lazy and greedy to listen.” It feeds into larger narratives about how Obama is just trying to steal money from the white man and give it to black people, which in turn satisfies the constant conservative hunger to be assured that they can’t be racists, because they’re the real victims here.
Any doubt that this is what was going on was neatly wiped away last night with this report:
[video of Crooks and Liars report in which Romney is quoted as saying about the NAACP audience, "If they want more stuff from the government, tell them to go vote for the other guy--more free stuff".]
