Just to humor you - if I am the one in the wrong - "blind"ed as you say - why is it YOUR heart is filled with anger and pessimism.

I think you sir are the one not seeing the light. God's way is the only way!
I'm not angry...It's just that you only do things as they are described in a book.
You can't have an idea of your own whithout thinking that maybe it's a bad idea because the book says so...
    So...You can't think for yourself.

Mr. Nothing - I think you're just grabbing at straws now (moreso than you were previously).

This 'Offended Teen' loves to manipulate the Bible instead of simply reading it and following it precisely. His screen name really should be 'Twisted Teen' because that is what he does to His words.

I've found this quote: Deuteronomy 23:2
No one born of a forbidden marriage nor any of his descendants may enter the assembly of the LORD, even down to the tenth generation.
A forbidden marriage is, for example, a marriage between a brother and sister – it has nothing to do with whether either party to the marriage like the idea or not.
I also found this quote, which I believe you reason your ideas on.

28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

    (Deuteronomy 22:28)

However, and there is a however I believe - this passage was written in the old testament. At that time, he must marry her.
The Bible shows us the history, of God and the lord Jesus, and I believe that is now history.
You must be wrong – The Word of The Lord cannot be changed:

2nd Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

See how it says “all” – not just “The New Testament”?

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

The Lord does not want women to slave under the will of men. He wishes us to be equal, and loving.
    This is Satan speaking!

1st Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
1st Corinthians 11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
1st Corinthians 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
1st Corinthians 11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
1st Corinthians 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
1st Corinthians 11:8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
1st Corinthians 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
1st Corinthians 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
1st Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
1st Corinthians 11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

I think we can all hopefully agree, rape is wrong.
Rape is as God describes it and should be dealt with as He says.
And although that woman has been raped, it is no longer her duty to marry the man, for in society, faith and love has made it so women now hath equal rights as well as men.
If we let “society” decide what is right or wrong, what is the point of God? Are His Words to be ignored? If so, there is no point in Christianity.

You are creating a god in your own image – you are deciding what that god will like and what he will not like. You cannot be correct.

I think, (Deuteronomy 22:28) shows us, that society has changed. It's good for us to know that we becoming better people, under the will and glory of God.
How are we “under the will and glory of God, if we ignore what He says? Why are we better if we change His Words?

And I would like to explain that I believe this quote refers to any forbidden marriage. So if the daughter does not wish to marry - and is forced to legitimately, it may be disaster for her, and her future family if the becomes of one.

I also found this quote, which I believe you reason your ideas on.

Society can accepted she has been unwillingly raped - and society and religion can agree that she has a right to the rest of her life - and to marry whom she chooses.

I think, (Deuteronomy 22:28) shows us, that society has changed. It's good for us to know that we becoming better people, under the will and glory of God. I think now that Jesus came to the world, our world has been improving - even when Jesus left.

And NO every woman is not a lesbian, you have your facts wrong there.
And you have missed out a very important part, It takes a man AND a woman to make little soldiers. Men are More important. FACT.
Back to this thread though. After plenty of reasoning thoughts, if this woman had cried for help or put up a fight, then help should have been given.
But if she kept quiet then she obviously wasn't that bothered by what was happening. Maybe she was enjoying it, which then makes her a whore.
