But I have questions the Bible just doesn't answer. Will her toes grow back when she's in heaven? Will her brain damage dissapear, or has this injury damaged her soul? She's forgotten how to talk, and will even have to be toilet trained again. If she doesn't survive the operation, will she be wearing a diaper in heaven? Will everybody get smarter when they're in heaven? Won't they not even be themselves any more?

Brother, never forget that we are here for you in your time of need. But don't forget either that females probably don't have souls, so they don't go to heaven. And even if they did, if she doesn't have all her bits, she cannot enter the house of the Lord. God is particular about who can enter. Jesus can read the thoughts of everyone, good or bad, faithful or sinner. So what makes your thoughts any different from anybody else? What makes your thoughts so special that Jesus would even notice? Getting down on one's knees shows devotion and respect, which Jesus demands! Well, I've been keeping my despair at bay the usual way - with a flurry of activities to keep my mind too busy to think about all this. What with the Paris Hilton bibles and the Fashion Police and so on...

The damage seems serious, like she's dead but with her heart beating. She can't speak or anything. She also suffered "immersion foot" and they had to amputate her toes, her wonderful, pink, ticklish toes.
