What about emergency cesareans? Maybe when the baby is not in the right position, is something usual in some pregnant women, that was my case when I born. Those births are with local anaesthetic, so the mother is awake during the birth but she don't feel pain

When Jesus was suffering on the cross for YOU did He ask His Father for an epidural? No, He took the pain. Nails through His hands and feet, a wound to His side! No relief for Him, just vinegar. And you want pain relief for such a simple procedure as a caesarian .

You do know who was there watching when you were rejected God's gift of pain? Jesus was, perhaps with tears rolling down his sweet cheeks remembering what He endured for ungrateful you.

You can bet the farm that if a man were to experience the relative pain of childbirth he would be back at work at the steel mill with his burly, husky work mates talking about the ball game.

I do appreciate this, but my babies were delivered via c-sections because I have cephalopelvic disproportion which basically means my hips didn't separate appropriately to birth them naturally. Oh, and I really tried with my first. I refused a epidural until it was almost to late to give me one.

I really don't know much about them. Nobody I know well enough to discuss such things has ever had one.

Didymiss Much is correct that the Bible doesn't say anything against them. I guess if you're cursed enough to have to have a Caesarian, then you need to go through it without anesthetics.

What is the pain of childbirth if not a gift from God? I turned off my wife's morphine drip when my son Zebida was born. Yes, my wife did cause a bit of a fuss and the doctor said it was the noisiest caesarian he had ever performed however it was a mild discomfort compared to an eternity in hell.
