This is because God's love is way beyond anything you can comprehend. Which is why He doesn't want you to burn in the lake of fire He has prepared for you if you do not do as He commands.

Your short and uninspiring life is but a drop in the ocean to God's Time. If you are counted among the saved, you'll have an eternity to worship the LORD and sing His praises without ceasing! Hallelujah!

That's because you don't allow it to have any significance to God.

    Why would this baffle you?

The LORD knows everything, when you're sleeping, when you're awake, your inner most thoughts:

Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
    Psalm 139:1-3

He doesn't "take attendance," He notices when we are paying attention to Him and when we are not.

Here is Truth® for those who have ears to hear.

And yet here we are with all the evidence that such a thing is true. There is no other evidence for God but the words of the Bible and the insight it gives you into His creation and manifestations of his will.

All the cherry pickers and scripture twisters in the world can't get away from that simple fact that is the underpinning of how much true faith I have in God. You need to take stock of this and love the Bible for revealing that to us and act on your instincts. Because your cherry picking friend is just trying to convert you into thinking like him. You must read the Bible and see if God exists for yourself. It will change your life, friend.

Every single True Christian™ has independently made this unique personal journey and come to the same conclusion and come here of their own free will. Praise Jesus.

Catholics hate the Bible - it contradicts all their dogma.

God either exists or He does not. There is no middle ground. No wonder you are so confused.

You're either totally sure God exists based on the mountain of evidence we have or you are not. We present you with the evidence and you are still not sure? Perhaps you are just pre-chosen to burn and your brain doesn't work. It's impossible to tell by looking and only God knows so you may as well keep on trying but I wonder at why you think he "might" exist. The evidence is overwhelming!

God is not a wishy washy idea you make up in your head to justify yourself when you can't think of a cogent argument to justify your prejudices or make yourself feel less scared of dying. God is real and is described in the Bible. If you don't accept the Bible or you reject bits you don't like, then what evidence is there for God?

It's all or nothing, friend. Burn or do not burn.

So you admit to being an atheist now? And I'm supposed to believe you about the 88?
