I must say i am truly saddend to be adreesed this way by a Christian.
I have nothing to hide, i will tell you honestly that i and fifteen years old, while origenaly intending to remain anonymous, by the time i finished typing i had to sign it for other furries to see.
There are loads of things i could say against you, and in my defense, but i have chosen a more subtle and less attacking method, as I feel that this would be the best way to avoid conflict on either side.

As for the Furry fandom itself? Imagine if you had NEVER been told anything about the furry fandom in the past. Imagine you have never heard of it. Now someone says, "I’m a furry," and you might ask, "gee, i wonder what that is, do explain!" And that person then responded, "it's a person involved in a group of people, who like human like animals, in cartoons, literature, music, and acting." That person might then go into detail describing perhaps, the fursuiters... friendly people who just like to have fun, go out, and put a smile on peoples faces.

We are not porn, and sex obsessed freaks. there are those of us who are A-Sexual! I don’t understand what it is going to take to get this point across to you, but i am certainly going to try.
There ARE the freaks and the weirdos out there, they exist in everything. Every group has its own set of strange and generally unaccepted people, even if these people are very LOUD and stand out quite a bit.
Someone describing the furry fandom as consisting of solely Sex obsessed freaks would be the rough equivalent of Someone spreading hatred of ALL religion over the acts of the Spanish Inquisition in 1478. It is ridiculous and blown out of preparations, even if the acts of either of those two minorities is disturbing and desgusting.
Furthermore, even if furries WERE sex obsessed freaks, is insulting them repetitively and starting all of this up the right thing to do? Is this going to bring these people to God, or deter them?

Ok, i see that this thread has not been responded to in over a week, and i see already that this has been tried... So... I hate to beat a dead horse, or even take it a step further this time by shooting it in the head (metaphorically referring of course to the fact that I intend to explain this to you once and for all) I am going to anyways.

I am speaking to you today as Both a Christian, And a member of the furry fandom. I am both, plain and simple. Now I happen to understand the wild ups and downs of people such as yourselves logic so before I hear a paraphrasing of, "You are justifying sin, you are compromising Gods will, or burn in hell," allow me to ask of you that you take what I say seriously, as I have spent much of my time in prayer over this topic.


I’m going to start by explaining first what a furry is, a lot of this I have already written out for other purposes much like this one and I will simply be copping and pasting them over.

-Furries are Anthropomorphic (something that has human qualities attributed to it) animals. The characters themselves are referred to as Furries.
-Furry all refers to the person enjoying those characters (the viewer). weather the characters be in the art, the writing, the music, or the actors which are commonly referred to as Fursuiters.

This is a broad overview that I wrote with the intended purpose of sharing the view of the average furry. It is the typical response that you will get if you actualy take the time to listen to these people and find out what they have to say.

Representing the fandom as a whole, that is about as detailed as you can get. That is because the Furry Fandom is INCREDIBLY DIVERSE. [there are Liberals, republicans, Christians atheists, pagans gays, straits, Bisexuals, Asexuals, people from all nations, all age groups and most beliefs], Yep... But really, most of us are in it just to have some fun (...clean... fun...) Because of the nature of the fandom and what it is based off of (human-like animals) there are people from other subcultures that also become Furries. Therianthropy (people who believe that they have an animal spirit inside of them) is a good example of this. Most Furries are not therianthropes but there are some out there. That is the same exact thing with the zoophiles and plushophiles out there, They do exist, but that side of them is apart of a completely different group. We just like Anthro animals.
The Furry Fandom is often related to the Star Trek Fandom. However there are some key differences. They call themselves Trekies we call ourselves Furries. They are into star Trek and we are into Anthropomorphic animals. The Trekies get all of their materials and such from one place, the whole Star Trek franchise and what not (granted there is fan art, fanfiction. And roleplay). However, Furries are not based off of one series or one kind of thing. We enjoy Art, Music, writing, Roleplaying, and acting (Fursuiters really are just actors in costume, nothing more...) All of this comes from WITHIN the fandom itself (granted a lot of us do watch a lot of classic Disney and Pixar xD.)

As I have already mentioned, we furries are generaly the creative type. We have Musicians, Artists, writes, and.... (Drumroll) ACTORS! (Whoo!) Anyways... That is what fursuiting is! I find it surprising that there is so much controversy over this, because, most fursuiters are simply acting out there character. They love to get reactions out of people, go out, have fun, and be random. That’s another thing you will find about most furries, we are incredibly random, fun, and many times ridiculous people.
A lot of the time you will see fursuiters that hug each other, scratch each other behind the ears, or just generally act in strange ways. Many times this looks like it may be suggestive but I assure you that the reasons behind It are FAR from that. So why do they do it? This is the hardest part for me to comunicate to people I think. Most people have an incredibly hard time grasping the concept that the people inside the suit are ACTING OUT THE PART OF THEIR CHARACTER AND ARE NOT ACTING AS THEY NORMALLY WOULD.

So now, to the dark side of this, yes, there the very few and disturbing people who have sex in fursuits. These people are generally either plushopiles, or zoophiles, and they make up a very sad %2 of the furry fandom. They just happen to be a very loud and annoying %2...
Generally when speaking to other Christians, they tell me they fear that I will be indoctrinated by the fandom, I find this hilarious coming from people who allow themselves to be indoctrinated by CSI, and random Trolling idiots on youtube with nothing better to do.
(By the way, I have not bothered to read all 6 pages of this thread, I’ve heard it all already, I have a general idea of what has been said, I read the first few... And by the way, that picture of that family wearing (fursuits) Is photo-shopped (not real), if I were to guess I’d say an anti-furry had something to do with that...

Here is were I begin to write material directed specifically at this forum. As Christians, what is our job? Think this though thoroughly.
As Christian, it is my believe that we are to walk in love, to worship God, and to Spread the news of our salvation to others that they may also be saved.
It is NOT our job to judge those unsaved, we ARE however to judge each other, which is why I’m here now typing this to you. I am judging you now, and I openly allow you to do the same to me.
Now think of this, if it is our job to spread the news of our salvation to others, how much good are you doing in sitting here openly flaming people and groups? How much further does it speak when one tries to talk to you about it and you give them the same treatment? You are hurting your own testimonies as Christians. Exactly what part of "Aeternal Damnation Assured" was supposed to in any way achieve this for Tori Belliachi? I can tell you that Tori is of the religion of Therianthropey. He believes the same as many native Americans, in that he thinks there is an animal spirit inside of him. He is about 17 years old or so, and lives in England.
Thanks to people like you he has pretty much condimed the Christian faith as consisting of stuck up snobs with nothing better to do than to be judgmental of others. He has shut us off.

Now, I’m not even going to pretend that I know what God wants to happen.... God is FAR beyond my comprehension.... HOWEVER, There are some cases, were he has made it BRUTALLY OBVIOUS, that EVERY human is his child! Jesus Christ dies on the cross for such people as him too! It is our job as Christians to spread this information to people! It is NOT our job to insault people to the point were they shut us off and distance themselves from anyone who would want to share this information with them!
I did not expect you to know the stuff that I told you about Tori, I have communicates with him in the past, and he is very well known throughout the furry fandom, thats how I know about him. There are things that you are simply never going to understand about these people.
I however, Do understand them. I am not alone in being a Christian Furry. Oren is a great example of Christian furry. He has created an online community, were Christian Furries meet and chat regularly. There is even a service held in a chat room every Saturday night that I attend when I can.

Many people such as myself, Oren, and MANY others see our common interest in anthropomorphic animals as a way to spread the Information of our salvation to others, through love, through kindness, and through example. It is apart of our ministry. When you come online here and bash people who simply talk to you in a polite way, it really hurts our ministry, and it really hurts our chances of reaching people.
As I said, there are things you are simply never going to understand. So for now, I’d like to ask that you simply end this mindless bashing, and mindless insults. From there, either do your research, or allow people like myself to continue in our work.

Meanwhile, we are NOT ABLE to sin:
