Well now, that depends doesn't it. How would you correct a child? In one situation a spanking would be in order, in another a good slap upside the head would fit better.

Abuse is when DH has a bad day at work, stuck in traffic, etc, comes home and takes it out on his wife.

Correction is what happened when I had a bad day and took it out on DH.

You're correct, it's the trolls that come on here and say all our men are wife beating monsters. They don't seem capable of understanding the difference between a correction and abuse.
