  • Please pray for Stewart Rhodes

    The founder of the rightwing Oath Keepers militia today was found guilty of seditious conspiracy relating to a January 6th tourist misunderstanding.

    Prosecutors sought to paint Rhodes as a liar, showing him his own inflammatory text messages, videos, photos and recordings. Jurors heard how he rallied followers to fight to keep Trump in office, warned of a “bloody” civil war and how he could hang House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, from a lamppost. He expressed regret, that the Oath Keepers did not bring rifles on 6 January.

    He has vowed to appeal the conviction.

    Rhodes is a family man (3 children), a Yale Law-educated former paratrooper and disbarred attorney. He wears an eye patch after accidentally shooting himself in the face. Let's pray for his quick release and for Jesus to find a new eye in the spare parts box.

    If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

    Yes, pray for our friend and patriotic American, Stewart. He continues to give it his all, fighting the stolen election. In the middle of a broken country, Stewart soldiers on.
    Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

      Martyrdom is an important component of any Christian movement. I'll be praying that he gets the severest sentence possible, the better for him to suffer on Christ's behalf and gain in exaltation and esteem. Really the best outcome for us and for Rhody would be for him to be executed for treason. I mean, he'd go straight to Heaven and we could all say "Nancy Pelosi killed this man, this hero. Rise up against the Democrats."
      I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
      Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
      But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
      From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!
